Cycling with a Brompton is part of my intentional lifestyle, for a more active life, enjoyable commuting, and outdoor time.
I am a passionate owner of two Bromptons: C line and C line electric.
I will post videos of my rides in France, Italy and ...Norway.

Sognsvann lake / Brompton Bike Tour / Oslo Norway. BCT
In today´s Brompton ride, I biked to Sognsvann Lake. It is one of the most popular summer destinations for bathing in fantastic scenery. I dreamed of bathing there and finally tested two different spots, both great in their own ways.
I chose one of many off-road paths that cross the forest to reach the lake. These tracks are lovely and enjoyable, but I crossed them at full speed because I was too eager to swim to the lake.
I was not expecting such rough terrain, which was not ideal for my Brompton. It was the first time I had tested my bike on such terrain.

In today´s ride I explore BYGDØY. It is a peninsula near the city centre with some of Oslo's most popular museums, hiking trails and beaches. I was expecting a "nice" ride, but the nature, peaceful trails, deers and beaches were fantastic gifts. My first recorded ride on my Brompton is from the Croix Rousse to Parc Gerland & Musée de Confluence in Lyon, FRANCE (around 10 km). On the same day, the Lyon Marathon took place. Hi, thanks for your detailed video. I'm a Brompton-Rider from Suisse and I want to visit Lyon this summer (once the damn weather gets better...) It's 5 hours by train from here (Lucerne), actually Lyon is closer to Genève than Lucerne is to Genève.... I want to take my Brommie with me, than explore Lyon with it. It must be a really cool city. La Confluence looks especially promising, with all the modern architecture and restaurants etc. Greetings from Switzerland :-)

@@brompton-cycling-time Hi, sorry for the late answer. I will go to Lyon on the 6th of September and stay there for 3 full days. My hotel is close the Pont Lafayette, extremely central and directly at the riverside bike path. I'm looking forward, the weather forecast looks promising!
@@brompton-cycling-time So I just came back from Lyon. I really love this city. The quai du Rhône is incredible to ride with a bicycle. I did it multiple times, also at dawn. the way is so vibrant, so many people but always peaceful. Unfortunately I found that changes once you cross the bridge to the presqu'il. tons of car traffic. I went back to the Perrache station and onto the bridge there, loads of cars...I prefer the quai 🙂 I also went to Croix Rousse (but I have to admit, I took the brompton into the C Metro and only drove to the bvd de camut to see the house facade, then drove down but it was way too steep for me...not really a joy...) I have to say, I do like Lyon better than Paris. Oh, and the food...
@@marcozg77 Hi!. Many thanks for sharing your experience. I can totally relate to it. You are right, one side of the river is super bike friendly. Overall, Lyon is a beautiful city with plenty of cozy areas. I am glad you loved it. All the best.
