    Frazier let him push off too much. He should have charged him after being pushed.

    Foreman kept on turning Joe over and over and over. He was pushing Joe back and when Joe dipped or came forward that jab followed by a right hand kept him at bay. Eventually those long bombs started landing and Joe was shaken up by the power. Joe didn't know how to tie up Foreman. He kept coming forward right into Foreman's range. Tyson would have fallen the same way. Foreman would've knocked out Tyson by 4 rounds maybe sooner. Joe and Mike came forward and couldn't fight going backwards.

    I always felt Joe was simply flooded with fear this fight…The promotional hype of Forman was genius..(even though he backed most of it up)…It’s almost as if the Thrilla in Manila removed Joes heart from his chest…😢… Joes chin was also suspect. YES big George was a beast with those power shots to the kidneys and face. Being hit by a Mack truck to the ribs would crumble us mere mortals. However; Joe was a Tank and should’ve been able to endure…🤦🏽‍♂️I believe Joe simply lost his tenacity and fire after Ali… As a Philly guy, we all love and adore him to this day, I Just believe he coulda beat this dude..

    13:13 Ahí está el zurdazo de RAMÍREZ que cambió el curso de la pelea! Lastimó a Rosario y a partir de ahí (1:49 faltaban de ese 3er. ROUND) Rosario ya no pudo avanzar más, se volvió más lento y anunciado en sus golpes y por eso falló muchos y finalmente no se pudo recuperar más hasta que fue noqueado. Impresionante pelea!

    If you listed closely in the few minutes of the fight you can hear some yelling "Stop it, stop the fight". That was Angelo Dundee, Muhammad Ali’s trainer. You can tell by the concern in his voice that he was really worried for Joe Frazier’s well being at this point.

    • @michaelmohrle1773
      @michaelmohrle1773 16 дней назад

      You can really hear him in the Howard Cosell broadcast, Angelo was right near Howard's side of the ring.

    Joe’s cornermen can’t even get his stool into the ring, foreman’s corner not much better but Joe needed a seat quickly after the 1 round beating.

    George Foreman is probably the strongest boxer who ever fought. Ali possessed the smarts and the size to defeat Forman and with some help from the ring maintainers' the rope a dope did the trick Forman just collapsed from fatigue .

    Precisamente por esto fue que la victoria de Ali vs. Foreman fue tan impresionante. Nadie pensó que le iba a ganar a este demoledor de hombres. Miren lo que le hizo a Joe Frazier, increíble. Y así era Big George, increíble. Por eso luego de tantos años volvió del retiro a competir y nunca cayó más a la lona, solo con Ali. Foreman, una bestia gigante, que los golpes no parecían afectarles y sus golpes eran tan pesados que eran capaces de tumbar a un elefante. Un gran tipo también. Gracias a estas 2 leyendas por darnos tantos momentos gratos en el deporte del box!
