Why took the trip to confront his wife when he could have done before the trip? That was unnecessary. Lousy.

I liked the story and the way he disclosed her affair. Repeating a part of the story is irritating. When husband don't want to listen to his wife, it is much more interesting listen to the voice of the wife. Why and what she thought when cheating and most of all aftermath.

I'm going through the same from a fifty-five-year relationship. During a tense discussion, she blurted out "You Are My Security", My jaw dropped I retreated to my bedroom, trying to compose myself. If you have replaced all the words, you told it yourself that words are just words, with the voice of the wife as well and the divorce prosess, or at least a final confrontation between wife and husband, the story could have been good. All the bables going on in the head of the betrayed husband are dull.

Sad to hear the ramblings of a man that did not have a vision of the future. A wimp that could not even come to terms with his failure to have put his foot down in the past and put his wife in place. A loser.

The story isn't clear. Did she engage in physical intimacy with the EX?? Because it seems that she came to the realization from the conversation that he was the same smooth arrogant talking a hole he'd always been. It was still wrong for her to go. That said to her husband "I'm not sure about us" and thats almost as devistating as her being intimate with her ex. And trust, like a mirrior or a heart, once broken can be repaired but the reflection will never be the same or as trust as pure. Thats a question the husband has to come to terms with in his head and his heart.

This story began as a very interesting and entertaining story. Quickly, the story became 90% about Adam. There were nearly no interactions or one-on-one conversations between Adam and his wife, only Adam's emotional feelings and personal experiences. The story ended with Adam writing and letter and then going on to finish by talking about himself. Overall, the story evolved into mostly very boring babble about Adam.

These cheaters always play the LOVE card. If LOVE really was real to them, cheating wouldn't have happened. Why no conversation so he would know how she's feeling about their marriage. Treacherous
