Husqvarna Z248F Zero Turn ZT 2100 Transmission Issues
This is what is happening in your Hydro-Gear ZT-2100 Transmission of your Zero Turn that Husqvarna claims is maintenance free. Hydro-Gear's Service Manual Recommends you use 20W50 Engine Oil. Due to the amount of aluminum shavings found in the oil while servicing the unit, I also added Lucas Oil Stabilizer to each unit. Not sure if it will help with the wear and tear but only time will tell.

How to Use Tinks E-Scent
Просмотров 6 тыс.5 лет назад
I was recently asked how to use one of these being the manufacturer didn’t provide detailed instructions. Hopefully someone will benefit from it. Basically it’s an E-Cigarette that Tinks ended up placing doe estrus in the cartridge in place of nicotine. You obviously don’t want to puff on this stuff so it’s placed in the primer bulb to push air through it. Happy Hunting!

2002 Suzuki Vinson 500 4x4 Leaver Assembly (Shifter) Problems

Hopefully this video will help others understand why their Suzuki Vinson's Shifting Leaver doesn't go into neutral or into gear from the parked position. This also should help others understand how to fix the problem and save hundreds of dollars.
Yep, designed to fail and dealers straight up lying to buyers.
A lot of folks have doubled up the tension spring for hydro drives. One guy put 2 brand new hydrostats in his 254F just to find out that it didn’t have enough belt tension and it was still slipping. A couple of $3 springs got him going again but only after spending $1500.
Time to drill and tap those gearboxs, study diagrams measure twice drill once
Was just looking for help. I bought a mower which I swapped engine on give. It was bad. Steering is completely bad. It’s hard to keep it straight and have some sort of slack
I have a Husqvarna Z254F Special Edition that is 1 week old with an issue (box store not interested in making the sell good by not offering real help), but when unit is cold (not cold weather) upon starting there is no moving forward or reverse (while moving the steering/park brake arms)- the Hydro-Gear makes a whiny-grinding noise and after a minute or two of moving the steering/park brake arms the unit begins to work properly. Any ideas ?
Hi, how can we contact you for business inquiry?
On the 2100 vers the 2200, What the difference other than the fan placement?
since nobody has answered I will take a stab. and I could be wrong, but it seems to me that as the model number gets bigger on these hydrostatic units so does the strength. The bigger mowers have the 3300 units , those have spin on filters and are meant to be serviced. My 2015 Hustler with a Kohler 24hp engine and 52 inch deck has the 2200 (I am not 100% sure) so I believe as HP and Deck size goes up so does the model # of the transmission.
Is this similar to the Husqvarna z246i? How do I get a service manual for these?
Ok, answered my own question. The z248f and the z246i have the same hydraulic units.
my gears grind and doenst want to go into any gear unless u tirn off and thrn restart will go in. happens when run the quad alittlre, like the idle is go fast and vears nust is clixking or vronding, .missing to vo into gear
Thank you I have the exact same thing happen to mine except the battery and headlight didn’t blow yet
Is oil the reason I can't go uphill? Thanks in advance.
Did you ever figure out what the reason was for you?
If anyone does this, make sure you purge the air from the case (page 15 or 16 in the service manual)…
Doesn't show squat as to where drain/fill access holes are? Did I miss something?

Pics at very beginning. Then he says @ 2:15
Just changed mine for the first time after 60 hours on my ZT-2800's. My oil looked exactly the same this morning.
Good looking 👀 out… Just got my 248F … I don’t have a lift, but Looks like something to Do annually…👍
How big of a lot are you Mowing and how many hours are on the machine is it still slipping after replacing the oil? Thanks in advance.
👍👍
Thank You. I'm going to get mine running
Best how to video I seen in a long time. Straight to the point
EBAY
Mine sure didnt work like that out the gate
Do you know how to remove the white detent rod from the shift tube? Mine got broken off with handle.
How Good Is this?
If they made this with a remote control to place at a location close to your stand to disperse when you wanted....it would sell very well..
Is this a vape
It appears that the company repurposed them to work for a different purpose but it does appear to be a vape.
For anyone wondering why there's no commentary it's because he's currently hunting in a stand.
I plan to attack this thing on my Vinson this week if successful I will offer my parts and process..........
I was wondering that that work for your Suzuki
Can you post the parts list please
I thought I had the same problem but mine was more serious - the entire stick broke inside. I made a video about my issue: ruclips.net/video/iVMVAtBKTzc/видео.html
It's a round ball, not a pin? It is spring loaded from the factory and the ball rides in that metal crown to stop the shift mechanism in each gear. I found on mine the reason it locks up is because if you flip this upside down and look where of the brake assembly engages or disengages it is possible to come down out of park and not have it lock into The drive position. I know that's hard to understand but if you have this part in your hand and you work it quickly you'll see what I mean! It is possible for the PARK lock not to choose one of the two positions😳it can get hung up in the middle of the two! And as you're driving down the road if that happens to vibrate a little bit and bounce BACK into The park position instead of the drive position you now have the brakes partially engaged, and the shift lever UNable to go into park and consequently the crown dog pic here will get bent out away, possibly causing the ball in the spring to come out!!!😳 AND THE SHIFT LEVER WILL BE STUCK IN PARK AND FORWARD 😡simultaneously😡
thanks worked on mine too
On mine, after riding the battery will get really hot (even boiled once). When i fist got the atv it was used, and shortly after upon attempting to start, the starter relay would click. When i took the seat off to inspect i noticed the battery was swollen and really hot to the touch. I realized the battery was not meant for that application, it was small and not the correct amp hour. So i bought a battery that was the correct size and amp hour and thought that it would do the job. Shortly after i noticed that this battery was also getting hot, and shortly swelled up also. Which made me assume it was the regulator. After disconnecting the battery and pull starting it, i turned the headlights on and they flickered a little, witch i kind of expected, but when i reved the engine the lights got dimmer. Which mad me think the stator could also be a contributor to the problem. Any suggestions?
did u figure it out?
definitely helped... thanks
Really wish he would put parts list.. I will not buy assembly..
Can you buy just parts of this assembly?! I cannot find it anywhere so I had to order a $350 part just to fix something that's probably $15 or so...
Hey man, same problem. Do you have a parts list?
Hey can you show a list of parts that you used on this? I'm having the same problem. Thanks
Great video, I love these kind of fixes!!
Great video! Can you share with us the parts that you used to make the new one. Would you be willing to build one for me? How much?
Mine fell victim to the same failure and has sat for about a month now. What parts specifically did you buy to make the new pin? Any help would be much appreciated
Very helpfull. Thanks
