Can’t express how proud I am

The white man everywhere wants a white world 🌎

In America 🇺🇸 I constantly remind myself that I am black before the white people and before the black American I have to remember I’m not from America 🇺🇸 When I speak to black Americans in America 🇺🇸, most of them assume that I am American 🇺🇸 because I am light skin and my hair is coils and long Once I open my mouth 👄 to speak, they like, you have an accent, where are you from Oh, you don’t look like you from Haiti 🇭🇹 Just because of the way they stereotype us Haitian to be in reality when they look like us

As a Haitian woman grew up in America 🇺🇸 since my teenage years, I still feel the same way when I left in the 80’s Some said why you didn’t go back if you feel that way, I came as a little girl, the family I knew and raised me were here in America 🇺🇸, I don’t even know where to go and who to go to Most of us Haitian don’t even know the country the fact that that we don’t move around the country

As a kid i always wanted to go to America because of its friendly people and big food for decent price But now with the newer generations of kids going nuts over anything and everything as well as inflation of prices+tipping people I'm no longer interested
