I have no friends
I wanted to say thank you for featuring my Aunt Lucile Taylor Hansen's story on your series. I have been spending the last 20 years trying to correct disinformation on the internet regarding her and her writings. Wikipedia has updated some of the information they were reporting and that pleases me so. Disconcerting to me when I first started looking for information about her on the internet, was that she was listed as a Man, and associating her with Frank Bursley Taylor, author of the Continental Creep Theory. She is the daughter of First Lt. Edward Taylor, West Point Graduate No. 3558, Class of 1893, Member of the twelfth infantry who was killed 12/26/1899 at Bautista, Luzon, Philippines. She is also an only child so any information out there that she was writing for her brother is false as well. An unscrupulous publisher spread much disinformation about her when he obtained the publishing rights to her book "He Walked the America's." He changed the "book jacket" information about the author and the book was republished. Many copies were sold with this erroneous information. The new publisher who gained the rights for the book has said upon a new printing, they would restore it to the original, with correct information. It's been a fascinating journey for me to follow her story and to add to my collection of her original manuscripts and paintings, the many articles and books she had published. I think she would be happy to know that her works are now uploaded to RUclips for another generation to enjoy!
