a toothpick and superglue can fix the old holes to hold screws like new
true, that is always an option
Thanks for the grand tour
you are welcome

Amen and Hallelujah
Will you be making videos while in Florida?
A big yes
I have some videos from my last stay in Fl. .....check them out
No integrity in doing business that way…if I tell someone they have a deal & they stick to their end then I feel obligated to keep my word. That was wrong of him
Thank you
I’m a subscriber & I love your content sir
That is appreciated. Hope you get to watch more of my videos and leave comments.
Too many tools … has never been a problem
Better too many than too few
Please get into the sand casting game soon. Your video is appreciated.
Thanks for your comment it's appreciated.... Maybe I will look into sandcasting if there's money to be made....lol....im in
Are you going to have Maga garage sale soon? or have a class to teach how to use these tools and sale them.
Always like showing people how to use tools
You are the neighborhood garage tools collector 😂😂😂
That sounds about right
when I see a tool truck kid or a packout princess, i think hobbiest. when I see 2 of the same vintage old style black soft grip estwing 16 ozs with rusty claws that you're saving for your grandson, I know who to call when i need shit done!
Thanks for saying that
Preheat your tools aswell if you don’t want the metal to freeze onto them
I see said the blind man
Funny cus I just did my first melt a few days ago too, but you have to preheat those pipes before you throw them in or else you’ll get those pops of molten copper.
You could be right
Ive never seen any of your videos before, but this came into recommended and I watched the whole thing. Its like im watching Adam Savage but down to earth. Its neat seeing what you have collected over the years. I only graduated high school recently but 2 years at an automotive shop has grown my tool collection from a few phillips drivers to an overflowing roll cart
Thank you for that encouraging comment
good lord you make me nervous watching this. where your ppe dude.
Quite the learning curve, my first time melting copper..... Need to buy a special pair of tongs
flatten out that pipe it's a chimney in a hot pool.
They would be better that way. But that's just so much more work....lol.... I wish I could have run them through rollers before cutting them to flatten them
I use 2 long bent nose pliers to pull my crucible out. gives me good control one on each side at the top. log grabber for fireplace logs from Menards for the pour. also gives me good control. Get some long leather gloves at least for some protection. And yes, preheat everything. I find flattening the pipe works best for me. it is more work though. The grabber that come with the kits are awful and flimsy I don't trust them at all
When Eagle
I just did !
What's it all about Afie eagle
.... It's about time.... It's about space
Over 21 minutes into the video and still no hole has been drilled that is good for us slow learners slow teaching eagle
Was the deburring necessary eagle
Grasshopper..... Time for you to go
RangerDangerDan
ok Bro
You should have acid tested it first.
yes
make sure the shit is dry before you dump it in the melted metal.. that also goes for the "dump". I hope you are joking :P
Joking about what
The roller bar puller tool is a brake spring removal tool, used on drum brakes.
You are correct
Great video. Looking forward to watching more.
thank you
Hey Dan, nice refurbish! If you add calcium wire to your copper scraps it should dissolve the lead. The method is described in international patent WO2016089064A1. Good luck! Cheers!
thanks...i'll look in to that
DUMB SHIT
Maybe the tool was salvaged from a container ship that sank in the Bering Strait. Robert Bosch now owns Dremel.
lol
I now live in Thailand. Last year I had a problem with a newly bought Dremel after my previous one fell apart following 30+ year of reliable service. I went to the local dealer who said he could not help, suggested I contact the office overseas but don't expect them to respond. I emailed head offices in the USA, Britain and Australia. I got the customary we got your email notice and nothing else. I have sent off repeat emails several times but still no response. They don't give a damn.
The manufacturers are so disconnected from their customers anymore, it's sad
Your comments are exactly what I’ve thought about many of the products I buy. What cheaper ingredient can I use and still get by on my name…
Thank you for watching the video
Worthless video
Yes , everything built on a price point , more profitable for them , quality be damned. Having gone through this procedure , best clean all the rust and treat with a rust preventative lubricant that is electrically compatible ( Fluid Film) , and oil the bearings ...They do sell parts , but by the time you pay for them and shipping , it's probably cheaper to be " creative " ( drill the hole ) , or do as they wish and toss it and buy another... grrrr !!!
Thanks for your thoughts on this
You got done. You actually could have just lifted the inverter . Good job.
Thanks for the pleasant comment and watching the video
Looks like a structure fire response, and they wont use sirens at night in a residential unless necessary
There was no fire..... They left 15 minutes after I went back in my apartment.
@@PennyPinchersNV could been a gas leak. they don't take long to clear up, that's if you have gas in your area, If not I don't know why they sent so many trucks.
No structure fire, no hoses out no. No shut downroads. No police
No need for sirens in a residential area.
Thanks for your thought
Till you do the job don't question what or why they do things the way they do. 25 year retired firefighter here.
If You don't question you won't get answers...lol
Nice Fix. I got the same truck. My 3rd brake light works. But both taillights does not.
Thanks for your comment
When you buy things that you have no idea what they are. Do you have a thought in your brain how you gonna repurpose it or just add it to your junk pile? I don’t mean to sound rude or disrespectful, but I was just wondering, you have a great day.
I figured for Three dollars, it was worth it as a conversation peace..... I do like to do some artwork with industrial pieces.
Why would you spend money on stuff that you know nothing about and therefore don't need? A saying springs to mind: "More money than sense"
It was only $3 and it brought me a couple $100 in value. Because of all the views it got on youtube
Crazy like a fox
Get a big bottle of phosphoric acid and a half inch artists brush. Take a picture of the before and after the rust is gone away. It will be ready to prime and paint BUT it would look really nice being glassed in black 😅
cool idea
An adjustable thing-a-mabob
Not a bad guess
Radial Arm saw frame
You could be right
Looks like something I remember that my dentist had in his office when I was a boy, still looking for that A-holes grave, so I can share a beer with him, after it passes thru my kidneys!
ha ha ha.... Now please subscribe
As a cabinet Maker who worked in the industry for over 40 years I concur with the previous posts it is the redial arm of a redial arm saw. It is a nice antique but not worth restoring. As someone who has used redial arm saws I can say they are in the top 10 most dangerous tools in the cabinet shop. Of course that is true with all saws. I don't wish to say how many of my coworkers lost more then one digit to something as common as a simple saw. Redial arm saws are notorious with binding and kick-backs, that is why they are no longer being manufactured.
Thanks for the comment..... I still make radio arm saws, though if you search the internet. Like to have Subscribe
this is the safest this tool has ever been
ha ha ha.... Now please subscribe
Old Comet redial arm saw frame. The moving plate bolts to the table, and the bottom crank moves the frame (with the missing saw motor) up and down. The motor and blade slides along the square shaft. Cool find!
Hello thanks for the comment.... Others have suggested. It was the comments also and I searched. And did not see any with the square shaft. But do agree it's radio arm. Please subscribe to my channel
That's what I thought too.
boy that is an antique heavy duty saw tool. at first, I thought it was a scale at first, but problem with that is that you had the wheel down at the bottom of the tool that you stuck into the ground. later, when you took the tool down to the grown, it was then I noticed the attached rod had a split inside. i that point i realized it was a saw tool that uses serrated round blades to cut wood. someone said its missing lots of part. it probably is. good luck on finding those parts. if you can't find it. it is possible to make a mold of whoever has the machine that has all the parts.
I think I'll just turn it into a lamp....lol
With that 9" ruler I'll guess it's a pecker checker. The rest of this contraption is above my pay grade.
Yes a radial arm saw. Id like to have it to make it into a radial drillpress. Ive considered using a more recent radial armsaw to do just this porpose , but the frames of the more modern saws are just too flimbsy. That solid base would be great. Or you could simply add a sawhead to what you have.
I just might make steam punk art with it
Radial arm saw or drill press attachment?
I agree with the Radial Arm saw guesses
