Get to know the faces behind the company at Laframboise Construction. Learn about our back story and our goals we are heading towards.
They look cool but aren’t gonna let enough air flow out the vent check their specs it’s letting out fractions of air compared to what a regular lover vent throws out. Look at the gap. The list their specs on their site. Don’t do it
Should a return have a filter?
For return vents do they have a filter?
I can see it for floor vents. Since most floor vents have a way to restrict the air flow anyway. I’m gonna try one in a bathroom with tile floor. Going to use the drop in just incase I don’t like it. But idk about using the cold air return ones. No way it has the same air flow which is needed.
What a let down. The Aria website says the airflow is comparable to a normal vent. They are lying. I finally found the Specs on a Hart and Cooley vent and compared a 4x10 vent. The Aria vent provided less than half the airflow. Bummer because I really wanted to get the Aria vent until I was shutdown by my home builder and then further research myself.
Any promo codes for the ariavents?
Can they be opened and closed? Or are they only wide open?
You can adjust the airflow by popping the face of the vent off. I think its just held on by clips
They also sell separate adjustable air baffles
They look great, but I'd have to have one the size of a bill board to match the flow my current return grill has. That's too bad, they look amazing.
Please, I want your recommendation for a minimalist looking through the wall vent fan for bathroom.
Been struggling to find the correct documentation regarding air flow restriction with these. They look like they’ve got significantly less ‘open free area’ and you’d really have to upsize to a larger aria vent to meet the cfm needs of an equal size standard grille. I imagine they’re also much noisier. Any thoughts?
Hey Bob, Great question. Our HVAC installer struggled with the air flow at first as well. Take a look at: ariavent.ca/pages/air-flow-specs That should give your HVAC installer the specs they need to ensure adequate airflow. As for noise, we haven’t had any reports yet about noise and have used them several projects.
Digging the music. Keep finding the best products.
Thanks! Will do!
That’s amazing
Thanks Emili ano!
