I think you're right about the pressure drop,that and a sense of security from the low light during regular daylight hours...Either way it's a phenomenon that I love and take advantage of every chance I get 🤙

@Frank-g6r it's hard to tell, but I'm pretty sure they were just using the boat for access...there are thousands of acres surrounding that lake that are open to hunting

I live in Virginia but if you can find any kind of rock or cover closer to deeper water and bait fish nearby you'll run into some good fish! What species do you normally fish for?

@Dementroverted_Fishing have you been in big macks creek? It's just behind the curve of that little area, it's where I catch the most bass on claytor

@Dementroverted_Fishing only a year, but my grandparents lakehouse is really close to big macks and you could probably see my Jon boat on their dock 😂
