@@nekrovx i would recommend spec crit, it’s technically the best performing tth build generally. it’s very bursty so it is easy to get your damage out. but of course if you’ve played pm, you will notice the downtime, especially with all 7s. my build requires me to go spec crit because i don’t run adrenaline, you can see that i average 85% crit. it feels REALLY bad not to crit on this class because of long cds. your focused shot goes from hitting 120m to like 30m on dummy. if you want to try spec swift which is gonna feel a little more fluid you should run adrenaline. or you can even play swift tth which runs dominion dang and when played to its top potential is strong imo. but requires lots of hands. here’s a vid of a swift tth in thaemine g4 who plays to the standard i was talking about: m.ruclips.net/video/71eB_pxMRw0/видео.html you can also check out my thaemine g3 vid to see how i play spec crit, where i think i played well. though in the current state of the game i’m not sure how well a spec crit tth with 7s would perform. we generally don’t perform good in guardians because there’s little natural downtime compared to raids where the downtime allows your cds to come back. check out the two differences between spec and swift and decide from there, if you decide you still want to spec then i would say try spec crit first and see how it is, if you want a little more speed then go with spec swift. I personally am fine without the swift as i like the really bursty play style.

ive personally never played swift/spec, i believe they run dominion set. I don't think it is bad at all but because it is less damage and more CD you have to aim for higher uptime on your skills and manage dominion as well. I would love to make an alt to play this version of TTH but i don't have the money to spend on it. When u get a chance, for Meteor Stream, try using Bombardment Support. Using the tripod and swapping to rifle skill right after gives bit more dps u can squeeze out from tth. Less comfy but not too bad once you get used to it

@@Jinagamnida i used to use that tripod but didnt like how it felt. swapping to the rifle after casting is actually very interesting. i never thought about that lol. maybe ill swap back and start testing that

Yeah it definitely feels bad. Also, the benefit of using it is that the dmg dealt is divided into 3 so the floor dmg is higher than meteor fall like where u could get no crit on meteor fall but it is hard to see no crit on all 3 bombardment support

nightmare has 2 phases: magic addiction (over 30% mana) and boundless (once you drop 30% you regen a lot of mana and eventually hit magic addiction when you reach 100% mana). as tth you want to stay in magic addiction. nightmare does the most damage, staying in magic addiction gives more damage than salvation. there is no mana issue but you want to stay in magic addiction. this is done by using food. you lose the attack speed but the dmg increase over salvation is very worth it.

@@NarwhalsAreLazy im pretty comfort about what im talking cuz i play this game 4 years since CLOSED beta in KR. And this gunslinger was not even close to be in endless mana state with OUT support. With support its be imposible. so NO ANY reason to wear nigthmare in current build. So nigtmare weaker then salvation in just numbers of bonus damage. Tell me just ONE reason to wear nigthmare if current build can not be even close to spend all mana with out support? i can not spend all mana with 9 CDR gems and 600 swift with out support. probably you man do not understand what you talking about. Salvation in this current build will be better cuz its just give more damage.

what problem do you have with the spell? it’s a decent filler skill and it is part of our main stagger. you can take the tripod i use to speed up the animation

I personally rarely see other deadeyes these days thats its hard for me to have a strong opinion on it. I do however play with a pistoleer in my static. He says he enjoys the class. i think i perform better than him but he does have times where he out damages me (i'd say its like 60-40 my favour, and its usually a small damage gap when one of us wins). I would say that we are both decent players. Pistoleer looks like a fun class, I was interested in playing it too at some point before it was buffed but I was more interested in other classes. To my knowledge, enhanced weapon is the better spec but it is also much more strict due to being entropy + having more skills. (Similar dilemma as peacemaker vs time to hunt, minus the entropy). Again, I haven't competed against many other deadeyes besides my static member so I don't have a solid opinion on the class. That being said, the reason I, and many other gunslingers, continue to main gunslinger to this day is because of the play style and aesthetic (if I perform well, its a bonus). It is a very rewarding class to perform well on. while it looks smooth and active all the time this is very much up to the player's mechanical skill and starting out as a gunslinger can feel bad because it takes a while to build up muscle memory and class specific knowledge. The current state of the gunslinger community is very negative because they feel that a lot of classes are getting buffs while gunslinger hasn't been touched in a very long time and is getting power crept on top of being one of the harder classes to play at the highest level. It often feels like you are playing much better than others but not for the same reward. (this goes for peacemaker at least). Time to hunt is definitely easier to play and get your damage out but your ceiling is lower compared to peacemaker. A reason I play time to hunt is because of the skill focused shot which is a very satisfying skill and being spec lets it hit like a truck. I do have a peacemaker alt and enjoy playing that but it is not geared for current content. I would personally say not to stick with a class because it does more damage, that's not how/why I play games but there is nothing wrong with people that do that and as a matter of fact it is quite common (many people switched to soul eater since it is doing insane damage atm). I'm also biased because I am a gunslinger main. At the end of the day I believe that it comes down to player skill because people talked trash about time to hunt for a very long time and that became the narrative that most people stick with. and most of those people, i guarantee i would outperform in raid. if you end up making a gunslinger and go peacemaker but find that it's not feeling right, give tth a try. this is how i initially decided to switch to tth. I would love for the class to get more love in the balance patches but the balance team seems to be unpredictable. One thing for sure is the balance team is against classes running double class engraving and this is the new best build for time to hunt gunslinger so there is a high chance that they rework something to force people off of double class engraving. The community is very vocal about gunslinger and a lot of top streamers are also aware of gunslingers current issues, but again, the balance team is unpredictable. sorry for the wall of text but I hope this helps

Se, reaper, slayer, etc. I don’t play for meta but they try to always heavily encourage it. It kinda feels like peer pressure to choose something strong, that’s why there’s a 1500 pistoleer on my acc rn instead of a gunslinger 😭 .” Her dps is low asf and is a hard class just go pistoleer it’s better.” Then again, I want to play for fun, not cuz I want to cruel fighter 24/7 with an extreme ease of use class. I main arcana and eo soulfist, two of the hardest classes and I love them. Luckily, I have another south Vern power pass and I think she just earned it. I’ll play both and see which one I like more and by the time the next pass comes, I’ll have my decision. With the amount of gunslingers in Korea and the negative expression she’s getting, hopefully she’ll be changed, which is just a cherry on top to what I already like about the class.Also in NA, basically any class can perform well cuz ppl here aren’t too sweaty😅. I’ve always been an aesthetic/ gameplay player over meta in every game, if my character is strong that’s just a plus, it’s not why I picked them. Would you say the build is relatively cheap?

@@sanadye1861 peacemaker can be cheaper because they run crit with a spec ring/earring. tth can be expensive because it’s full spec but hitmaster accessories can be cheap. i wouldn’t say either versions are cheap but if you keep an eye out you can always find good deals

yup i had to put overwhelm on meteor stream to help with that. i still find that i am able to contribute enough such that i don't have to heavily rely on team. for g4 theres definitely times where i have no skills available for the destruction check on his sword and we wipe because of it tho. have faith in the class it struggles but its not awful

agree, but trixion parse is not accurate because we don’t get execution damage. the class can still perform well if you have hands

@@Azenna It's actually really weak. You can play as fast as the game allows you, but you don't get benefit from it.

yup, i don't see them making any major changes to it but it is still a fun class to play and it feels good to perform well on it! the buffs we're getting are nice to have

do you still use nightmare with swift spec neck? or is it hallucination? i personally don’t like running hallucination on classes, i feel it’s a weak armor set, but that version is still good i have seen that too. according to the gunslinger discord you only go tth3 pm3 if you have a 9/7 else tth3 pm1 does more damage pm3/adr2 - 10.69mil dps pm3/ep1 - 10.34 mil dps pm3/adr1 - 10.13 mil dps pm1 - 10.46 mil dps it looked like pm3 would do better upon reading the patch notes but those guys ran the calculations so i’ll take their word for it

yes i still run nightmare, I used to be Salvation enjoyer but i recently switched to Nightmare for higher ceiling and no "taking a break" when i go greedy with Atros etc.@@Azenna Hally is way over crit cap and dmg goes down the drain obviously. I got swift tth build too but i rarely use it, its just not comparable even tho Its more fun due to like 10 sec cd on focused shot. Oh thats great to hear, that will save me a lot of money going for a new build, I might just try to snipe a crit/spec amulet so I can more comfortably go crit damage set with elyxirs because I am currently 75% ~ crit rate self buffed with swift necklace. I also have a pretty good necklace with 100~ crit and max circulate so that makes my swift neck a bit more viable as well. I essentially save a lot of money on high lvl cdr gems due to my added cdr from swiftness. add me in game if ur EUC, my main tth is - Soulfully

I also am currently running a swift spec necklace with precision and ~100 spec on bracelet. Sitting at around 1800+ spec rn. Was always hallucination with adrenaline 3 but realized its way too overcapped. Saw someone using a swift spec neckalce but was running nightmare so I also recently started playing around with using nightmare as well if there was another crit synergy in the party. Not a fan of how nightmare will bring me into boundless really easily unless i eat food and dont spam pistol skills. Is swift spec nightmare still better than hallucination swift spec despite the low crit rate

@@oscarlau3222 imo the strength of nightmare makes buying food worth it. you can think of it the same as other classes popping stimulants before each gate. as he said, he still pulls about 75% crit rate which is still good.

hi, the stone does not matter that much because you can create the same build with many different combinations of stones/accesories, but my stone for here was at least adrenaline 6 + grudge 5.

i use conviction on my Q (spiral tracker) and judgement on my D (plasma bullet). i usually start my rotation with E (quick step) > Q > D. i throw grenade if it’s up also.
