Intermeshing Quadcopter Hover in Ground Effect
I'm so afraid of crashing. Stay low and wobble.

Intermeshing Quadcopter on Test Gimbal

It's a gimbal made compact using parallelogram linkage. The gimbal pivot point is slightly before the CoM, and the inherently weak yaw causes the tail to slack down when it rolls.
Intermeshing Quadcopter PID Tuning

Showing tuned roll amd pitch tuning process. Vibration is very bad it's visibily drifting. Yaw will be tuned later with my old gimbal.

Android can't use mDNS to connect to //arduino.local, so I use this to show the IP. github.com/CCCanyon/LEDsequence
Intermeshing Quadcopter Grass Crash

The carbon-fiber intermeshing propellers are so rigid, just hitting the grass broke the body (orange part).
Intermeshing Quadcopter Test Flight

Rare intermeshing design. One bigger motor powers the intermeshing main rotors for lift, and two small vectoring rotors for attitude control.

Alternative to coaxial. And it looks cool.

Tilting seat would be another problem though.
Arowana Tandem Bicopter (VC-04 sub-250g chinook with 2S-18650)
Просмотров 22 тыс.2 года назад
Sub-250g chinook (tandem) configuration bicopter with 2S-18650 batteries. Uses Arduino Nano 33 IoT and flight control firmware (and algorithms) designed from scratch. 3-D printed Frame. Bicopters don't really need that much yaw, so limiting the rotor tilt angle by software allows the rotors to overlap. Also the servos are at an angle that tilt and "sweep" the rotors, so that the reaction torque...
How To Remove Fine Strings From 3D Printed Parts - with Tape!
Просмотров 1652 года назад
Remember you can kind of scrub the strings off your 3D printed parts? To make it work better, I can increase the friction... or instead increase the stickiness! Get a piece of tape, press and pull on the strings, they will come off easily.
I saw a similar intermeshing design in a dream once :P It was a full scale flying bike.
Btw, how could you control BLDC that precisely? Do you use some kind of position feedback like encoder?
If you're talking about the intermeshing rotors, it's just gears, not precise timing of the motors. They just physically can't collide as long as the system is intact.
@@яйцы That's simple but effective. Thx.
That design is absolutely cool. Please share more like this.
That's really cool, thanks for sharing
Amazing footage, as always! Love to see the progress and excited to see where this goes! 😄
Its called coaxial!!
its not coaxiall thats 2 rotors on the same axis -see Russian Kamov helicopters - this is 2 rotors at angles to each other and intermshing blades- See american Kaman helicopters
I'd cover up your TV for sure. Ask me how I know. Interesting flying machine.
Pretty cool
Greetings- how good drone! 👍
Interesting project 👍
This is definitely one of the cleanest Intermesh build I have ever seen. Kindly make longer videos and kindly provide the resources as some of your projects really catch my attention and I feel to make it myself
Is there stl?
really nice !
Wow! Where did you find that originally? That's a very clever idea.
Designed from scratch.
Beanz.
Was there any progress with this project? Or do you have some drafts? 🙂
what kind of flight times do you get?
wouldn't it be called a chinook?
Chinook is the name of one model of bicopter. Calling this a chinook would be like calling any jet plane a F-15.
nice design well done
Great, beautiful mechanism!
Would like to see more videos of this thing flying
Nice project! Would you mind sharing the stl files? I would like to build one for myself. Just with a standard rc drone flight controller.
Super cool Bicopter, love it
Nice design. It's awesome!.
This is really nice!
Saw this on Arduino blog,I have subscribed to your channel
Great project ! makes me curious about the inner working.
fantastic job!!!!
I'd really like to see more of this concept!
Omg! Is it really that smooth?
WOW Amazing work
