1..It means sir external magnetic field only causes division of randomly oriented nuclei into two nuclear spin states (+1/2 &-1/2). In other words it creates energy difference between+1/2 and -1/2 spin states....or increases precessional frequency if Bo is increased 2.Sir some protons align themselves against the external magnetic field.Why so?Where they get this sufficient energy to oppose the external magnetic field.
