Fields of Skibbereen has served West Cork since 1935, take a tour of our store to find out the magic ingredients of what makes us different.
I'm 62 and i remember as a young boy Christy working at Fields - jesus ... he hasn't changed much as he's still working there. Anyway he's a nice man and so is John Field the boss. My family was poor and we lived in a council house in Skibbereen . I have a memory when I was about 12years old hiding down the room and John Field at Christmas time coming in the gate visiting my mother to give her a Christmas food parcel . Thank you Sir- I still remember it to this day. Acts of kindness makes me weep.
