Is it okay to ask like what major did you apply to :) I’m guessing engineering related since you talked about like hands craft in your personal essay? Does it have to be related to what you want to apply to?
And it’s so beautifully written with the wording and turn of phrase etc.
Thank you so much for your effort. It is a motivation and a source of renewed vigour for writing the Princeton essays.
Hi i am suhirmanto from indonesia and How to i college biological science in princeton.miss, please
i need email princeton univ.for international students
You are Bengali?
could you share your graded paper of Princeton application
Hello, thank you so so much for this video. Personally, as an international student this was a huge help. I was wondering. I am planning to apply to financial aid for my top choice (which will be my early desicion). What if the aid offered does not satisfy my needs? Can I simply reject their offer and choose a different college that did? Thank you, hope to get an answer (if it is that you have one)
girl, you ps made me cry. I also always make sure that everyone feels comfortable around me which i have not experienced much. I have a hard time trying to find where i belong, ending up alone. I just relate to you a lot! good luck with sophomore year!
It looks so fun :((
Hi! I really liked your Common App essay! I was just wondering, which prompt did you answer? Also, what's your major?
Well done and helpful video 👌 Hope to hear more about Princeton experience, how classes are selected etc. If possible pertaining to computer science and related majors curriculum, teaching, ease of enrolling in classes for preferred times and professors. Any impacted programs, where not enough resources etc.
I got a handsome brother in Princeton area if your interested
Hello Fatiha, thanks for doing amazing work. I actually am having a couple of questions, if you could help me with them: a) How to find out the leading program of a university (like obv a uni would not post on its website what it's leading program is), so from where to know that? I am actually applying for econ. b) How many universities max should i apply for, your personal exp and suggestion? Also, how many to apply in early round and how much in regular? c) Researches and publications, are they must? what if my profile without them is strong enough? d) Only US? Or Canada and Australia as well. Any thoughts? e) Financial aid form submission? is it submitted on common app along side with admission app, or is it separately submitted. if separately, what are dates, any guesses? f) My parents cant sponsor my studies, so aid or scholarship is kinda must for me to get. In that case, how should i choose need-blind and need aware colleges, specially in early admission round. THANKS
Hello, thank you for watching! So first, when it comes to choosing "leading programs" you mostly need to scour the internet to see what others have said about those major programs. If you are applying for economics then you would need to research "best economic college programs" and discover opportunities/programs that way. Some schools are known for very having better curriculums for specific subjects and it just comes down to doing research. For example UPenn is more business intensive, while Harvard is excellent for Law. (Even though they are both amazing schools) Second, you can choose how many schools to apply to. It all depends on how much time and effort you have to put in. I know some people who applied to two schools, while others applied to around 50. I applied early to as many schools as I could (given that they were public) because I also applied early to Yale, which is REA and private. I applied early to schools I had more interest in and the ones that I was able to complete the application for, and then any other schools I was also interested for later, I submitted during regular decision, like Princeton. Third, they are not a must at all. Most students don't have them but if you do it can definitely make your application stronger! Fourth, location is, again, up to you. I did not want to study abroad so I applied in US. If you would like the opportunity to study in countries other than the US, then you should apply. Lastly, financial aid is submitted separately but at the same time as your college application. Usually what happens is that you apply to a school, and then you have to create some portal/account to view your application status. And in that portal the school will list instructions to apply for financial aid. Each school has a different method of applying for aid but it usually includes submitting a bunch of forms in order to demonstrate need. To find the dates of when financial aid applications are due, you can find them online by searching up "[School Name] Financial Aid Application." Applying early or regular most likely isn't going to affect your financial aid however some schools are more generous with their aid so you can look into that.
This is really beautiful! Would you be willing to review my personal statement?(I'm applying for the 2024 fall application cycle)
thank you sooo much!!

Do you recommend every essay have narrative elements? From you experience, when is it okay to “tell” rather than “show”?
Well “every essay” is very definitive and it kind of depends on how you feel you need to write the essay. In my opinion, most of the time “showing” is the way to go, however for shorter essays when you just don’t have the word count then it’s definitely okay to simply “tell” so you can get to the point quickly!
Such a perfect time to view this video after I already submitted my app yesterday
not me watching the day it’s due
Loved your video! It was so helpful. Love from Bangladesh!
Hey Fatiha! Your 70th subscriber here! Any tips about what to write as a student interested in Liberal Arts? Congrats 🎉
Answer me! Why are you so beautiful ?😊😉
Hello
Can you please check my essays
This is incredibly helpful! Thank you very much❤
I really like your advice upload more 👏
Absolutely love your essays!!!! They bring out such a fresh perspective and demonstrate how small things can have a larger-than-life impact on oneself.
HI FATIHA!!! Thank you for making this!!
hey joanna! youre welcome!!☺
thank you so much for this! this might be the most helpful video ive watched on the topic of applying and enrolling into Princeton. You went so in depth about your choices with your essays and your writing style reads like an article from the Atlantic or Vox-- just something very thought provoking and fun to listen to. I’m currently at a different school but I have my eye set on transferring to Princeton
Thank you so much, you are very kind! I may be biased, but I think you should definitely try!
Mam can you make a video on graded written paper as required by Princeton during application. It will be very helpful to understand.
The graded paper isn't meant to have too much of a deep meaning. You just want to find an essay that you believe you did well on and that you feel adequately reflects your non-application academic essay writing skills. It would be nice if the paper has your teacher's comments but even if there isn't that much feedback thats totally ok!
Really helpful for me working on Princeton's essays this year. I find princeton's essay the hardest among the ivies (Usually difficult to put something you've written right under their prompts.)
thank you so much for this video! would you be available to read my essay and give feedback if possible?
Thank you! I am glad you found this video helpful. If you would like me to review your essay please fill out this form : forms.gle/ZnG8uodVJdbJ3aZy8
