The right tool for the job makes it much better and not knowing what your doing just makes a mess. picked up a heavy duty locker sized safe with a securam lock, however somebody without a clue had already lost the keypad, and drilled 6 to 8 holes half didn't even make it through and the ones that did were at least 5/8 dia or larger, they bent the bar out of place enough to open it, never did hit the actuall lock box. have a great day

So if you plugged the tester into a locked safe, it should open it, right? you would just need a connector to plug both cables together, one from tester and one from the safe that was connected to keypad. Unless the tester only works when the lock has been set to factory defaults. Have a great day

Unless you soldered the cable after installing the new lock there must be a plug at one end or the other to install the cable through the hole in the door. Have a great day, was just re-watching and was curious.

I don’t understand how the dialed knows when a working combination is found. Since there is no real feedback other than maybe some tiny change in resistance on the stepper motor when.. I would obviously assume that one would have to put some kind of tension on the opening mechanism or something so that once a working combination is found, mechanical tension prevents the dial from turning or something like that. Could someone explain this?

The first phoenix 4.0 that I see is not on the Taylor technologies website. I began to doubt that he existed. I was working with phoenix 3.1. a friend asked me to unlock the device because the manufacturer stopped responding to emails. I was able to unlock the device, but was disappointed with its capabilities. Those locks that he opened, I can open perfectly by drilling without him, but the lock remains serviceable. And phoenix 4.0 has announced many more locks, but how effectively it works with them is unknown. Is this device really better than the black box?

How much is the digital keypad and can it be reset? I don't want liberty safe to have the back door access to my safe.

Was given two 1/2 ton GSA classified documents safes. One drilled lock removed. Door opens. The or he had the dial removed and punched and one hole drilled. A retired local guy came and showed my where to drill( needed to use my plasma torch on an inner hardened steel box around the lock). Got the deadbolt driven out. Opened the door(picture my huge smile) and found the body of a Mosler PRK-302. Are there othevlocks that will allow me to reuse the 4 threaded mounting locations to use a different lock?

you know you can push in the Led and then use a paper clip to short open that lock right? All you need is a paper clip lol!

Great looking shop, and coming together. I used a manual Derex grinder when I was working apprentice at nasa. It was gold colored and on a pedestal and used the same type collet system. They've come alone way. Thanks Jeff!

My 6730 failed after 1 1/2 years. Took 40+ try's before I got it to unlock. I replaced the lock body, and decided to up things to a Group 2M 6630. Haven't disassembled the 6730 yet to see what's up. But I could tell things weren't good as I couldn't feel the 2 wheel pickup when I dialed the combo.

I told my son who’s in training to be a locksmith that if he wanted to learn automotive locksmithing I’d buy the stuff I just don’t have a desire to do it myself lol. Btw, I use the heck out of that impact driver. Mostly on floor plate screws and steel door hinge screws.

That OBD port booster and protector is useful. Years ago I hooked up my T-Code Pro to a Nissan and the T-Code started buzzing. The kid that owned the Nissan had installed some ridiculous headlights and was pushing more than 16 VDC through the electrical system of the entire car. My programmer survived the surge but I have used that booster / protector ever since then. Except when I left it in someone's vehicle, then I ordered another immediately. The kid with the Nissan couldn't figure out why he kept having to replace his car's computer module.

Hello Jeff, this is able we send messages back-and-forth sometimes on Jason‘s channel. I also have Xhorse stuff if I can ever be of any help to suggest things when you’re needing help, I use the super chip and the programming of them all the time I’ve used them for quite some time they’re good stuff you just have to do a little homework before you go out to do the job just so you know what you’re up against so you can know what piece of equipment will work for you the best I also have now purchased a KM 100 X, which is like what you have in one of your boxes it is a good tool also from Autel so I don’t know all the features yet that the Alltel can do but I am interested in seeing from what I have did my research on it. It is a good thing I think it will probably do pretty much anything you want to do with programming it doesn’t offer any diagnostics that’s why eventually I’m gonna go back and get the Autel. 608 pro plus that’s what I’m wanting to get. Eventually it does full diagnostics on the car and that sometimes in our field is very important but I like your video and hopefully we will see a lot more of the things that you have, and if I can ever be of any help with any of the questions with Automotive, I have been in the automotive business, the whole time that I have been in business here in Indiana and I’ve been doing it for 35 years so if I can help I would be glad to great video again keep up the good work

That looks awesome! I love the dedicated SFIC station and the workflow key origination wall. Looks really streamlined and a time saver now that it's all set up. You mentioned stamping keys... where's that area? Also I'd be interested in an eventual video of the drill bit machine in action.
