Ah do I hate using FFX's soundfont, mainly on the fact that it keeps resetting whenever I open up a project with it on my DAW. I however, have improved somewhat in replicating the style of FFX from a mixing standpoint, such as using a more moderate reverb and some panning. The track reminded me of Masashi Hamauzu enough for me to use soundfonts from his tracks in X. This is with the exception of the solo violin, which is from Miroslav Vitous, which was already used in X itself so it kinda works, especially since Hamauzu has worked on a Mystery Dungeon game before (Chocobo's Dungeon 1 ...
