Yup range sucks...I have a fix hopefully...should be here tomorrow. Love the remote besides the range issue. How does the RC6GS have better range and it's a fraction of the price 🤔 I'll let you know how my fix goes, I'm just adding a drone antenna so I can take on and off, I want to be able to keep the remote in the case.👊

Get a max6 g2...they are cheaper and you can run 8S..I think 115 was maxed out with the mmx6s..what motor you running?? I have a 35t pinion on in this video...just put in a max6 and a 4985 1580kv..we'll see how it goes this weekend!👊 this setup should get me up to 150mph and then I am going to go dual motor because I bought 2 motors already just need another max6 g2 👊

Thanks brother!! If I had a little more time I might have gotten there....I needed to belt sand a different spur to fit but it was so late already so the one I had ready wasn't the one I wanted and I only had one set of tires left so that's what we got...👊

Thanks brother, I had to do a little rewiring just for my own peace of mind but so far so good, first weekend out and she's moving 👌 I had to buy some smaller 6S batteries to stuff in there and we'll see how everything goes this weekend 🤞👊👊

I'm just running a 35t pinion with stock diff....however I have on order a new spool and 2 4985 1580kv motors. Plan us to put one in with a max6 g2 for now until I can buy the rest of what I need for a dual motor setup 👌 👊

I just got a run in with my AK-917...149mph and another blown tire and now I'm sitting in my car getting rained out, I was gonna run the Felony tonight, I did some adjustments and hopefully we'll hit 120. I guess I will have to wait until tomorrow. I ran 157mph with your setup in my AK last year on 8S 😁

@@fastesteddiercmayhem2959 Wow, How did you get that 1717 motor to fit in an AK-917? I have an AK-917 too but it has a Horizon\Onyx 70\4,000kv system in it just to run at slower speeds.
