How to connect Android Auto with carbitlink box please check this video. 1. keep wifi and bt on 2. use phone to connect car monitor blue tooth , to keep sound working . 3. insert the box to car usb , when connecting menu shows, use phone to connect carbitlink box , serach " CarPlay&Auto_XXXX" . after connection done, the android auto starts.

When you connect your phone to the box, do you need your phone display/light to be open all the time while using the gps (for example)? Because i can connect my phone in my forthing t5 but in order to use the navigation Google maps, my phone need to stay open all the time and it is draining my battery, but when i lock my display or turn off the screen the navigation stops. Does your box prevent this from happening? If i order the box does my phone has to be unlocked and to project the navigation on the phone and on the car display at the same time, or i can turn off the phone screen and just use the navigation in the car's monitor?
1. the phone can be under locked mode. no need to display the screen. it's under carplay and andorid auto logic. 2. you can connect the phone to box, then lock the phone to put away, or put into your pocket, then use all control on screen or steering.

@@carbitlink Another problem is that the image becomes pixelated and jumps, this problem is also reported by several users in forums.
@@barkadauy this image pixlated mostly happen in HongQi series and 3D google maps, we are still working to finding solution this month.
