Route 9 Signs Horseshoe Lounge miniature neon sign build
Commissioned piece. The Horseshoe Lounge used to be one of the greatest bars in Austin, TX. Unfortunately it closed a few years with plans to reopen in a new location but that never happened.
No sign is gone forever so join me as I recreate this lucky beauty from the Lone Star State.

The Astro Motel was located on Freeway 99 in Fresno, CA. It was demolished in 2015 to make way for a freeway realignment, This is the sign that made me fall in love with signs. Miniature sign build for the Safari Inn hotel in Burbank. I have loved this sign since the first time I saw a photo of it on instagram. This weekend I took a few of my miniature signs all around the greater Los Angeles area to meet the real life versions. I stopped first at Covina Bowl. Next I visited Circus Liquor and the Valley Relics Museum. I spent the night at the awesome Safari Inn and visited Deano's Motel and Astro Motel the next morning.
