Thanks so much, man. This one hit really close to home, and it made me rethink how it could’ve been me and almost was. The people of Lakeview are strong for going through something like this, so I have nothing but respect for them.

@@jamestreft5570 It definitely gives you a different perspective on things; the full scope of tornadoes, from predicting them to seeing them form to witnessing the aftermath. It's horrible to see disasters like this happen, but one good thing is that it does show how people will come together to help one another in a moment of need.

I know, I normally don’t react like that… but this tornado was only 10 minutes from my home, it’s different when loved ones and friends are close to danger like that…

My apologies to you. I live in Billings Montana & was in the middle of the only tornado Billings has had in 50 years. If you Google Billings Tornado, you will see the live footage of it peeling the roof off of our civic center. That particular day i was helping a friend at her moms trailer doing some landscaping & she said we should stop early because there was a severe thunderstorm watch. Her & her husband went shopping so i went out to watch the dogs. I was playing on the computer when light hail started falling. After a few minutes it stopped and all of a sudden, what sounded like shotgun blasts were golf ball sized hail. Still thought nothing about it because I've seen many in Billings. Went back to the computer and 5 seconds later, the lights went out & i heard the Tornado sirens. Instantly i told the dogs, let's go downstairs. They have a perfect spot in the downstairs by the laundry room. I never thought twice. I knew what to do. What scared me was the lightning & thunder were on top of each other. 15 minutes passed and i went outside and every house suffered severe hail damage. I hope everything turned out well for you. @@jamestreft5570 You're welcome! Yeah that was a close call in the timing and intercept, and even taking that into account when it comes to positioning, it was still awesome and us viewers are able to get a sense of how well-formed it was.
