Buying laptop for my younger sibling whos gonna pursue masters abroad - 900-1300$ I was scavenging online for a specs balanced laptop, which model/brand I should go for and the requirements are as follows.. Budget-70-85k Config- Amd ryzen 7000 series + Nvidia Rtx cpu/gpu combo Display- 95% DCI-P3 colour accuracy Battery life: emphasis on battery life ranging from 8-10hrs (the more the merrier!) Storage - 1TB HDD with 256gb SSD (upgradeable) RAM - Minimum 8gb(upgradeable) Ports- atleast 1 usb typeC and 3 usb typeA with 3.5mm jack and HDMI port( would really love type C charging support) She will be doing light to moderate gaming and productivity on this laptop.. didn't consider intel processor as amd ones are Power efficient and better for long term use. Also would prefer the laptop to be less bulky and portable the usual ones available in this price decent quality webcam and mic would also be preferable. Note:- if any bang for buck or killer deals with laptops having 12th gen or better Intel's cpu+Rtx configs that are too good pass upon in the above mentioned budget please let me know. Thanks.

Strix plastic slab is worst from 3 taiwanese giants lenovo and msi have better laptop. Always look at model year. Msi GT chassis was reused in 6 generation of laptops. Same with Alienware X51 chassis from 2012. Now you can buy at as Dell precision gaming G16.

Well with the RTX 4050s and 4060s It really dosent matter whether your TGP is 100 -140W with all the dynamic boosting In gaming or any stress test, it dosent get pass 100W And 1 good thing about the 40 series is the optimizations There isnt much difference between a 75W and 100+ W TGP Just a about 5 -10 fps increase Unlike the 30 series where you can see twice the Fps increase, making you regret not going for a 115W -140W TGP
