It is getting very difficult to find fruits with seeds in them anymore. I work at a grocery store and there isn't any fruit, for sale, that has seeds in it. Actually, I think cantaloupe has seeds. I don't think it's, necessarily, because cosumers don't want seeds in their fruit, my thought is conspiratorial in that they are weeding seeds out of fruit because it isn't as healthy. Eating fruit with seeds in it is much better for us than eating fruit without seeds. Seedless fruit, remember, has to be manipulated in order to be created. It isn't a natural by product of the earth; this means it started in a lab somewhere. Just my thoughts.

Come on guys, anyone who's lost a bunch of weight over time then went on to a maintenance program and didn't go back to feeding like a pig gained a little back on maintenance, thats you're set point, which was never spoken about until recent times, if you regain weight to where you before or more means you slipped back in to you're bad eating habits, which could be triggered by you're relationship with stress or other life changing issues among other things.

What is the absorption rate, if I would prefer to just eat salmon roe? I am embarassed to say that I became interested in this for vanity and skin health, but I did have some other issues that it can also treat. Anyway, if eating straight tomato paste, beet juice and daily carrots can have such a visible effect, would salmon roe (the highest concentration food, that I can easily obtain, regularly) also have an effect, just by daily consumption?

Eating foods with just a higher "ratio" of Lysine to Arginine is what most folks suggest. Not the over the top comment of never eating any Arginine... Please... Cacao butter, nuts, Creatine Monohydrate, L-Citrulline are major triggers for a lot of us that are prone to cold sore outbreaks. Just because its a plant, doesn't mean its default healthy for you... I eat more red meat now and have gone up to 3 years without a cold sore. When I screw up and eat things I shouldn't, I get a cold sore. Is that simple.

Some of my favorites, but unfortunately, with type two diabetes and CKD 3 B, these choices are not good choices for me.
Just alil clarification for someone watching - Do "ALL" plant sources contain all essential nutrients - well, mostly & here's why A. Yes, most regular plant based protein sources will have most of the amino acids in varying levels. Eg., rice might have an amino acid more than green pea or vice versa. In short, combined protein sources of rice, soy and green pea will have similar nutritional profile to say milk or meat. B. The thing they are talking about protein quality is called bio-availability & frankly it applies to all. Thus have a balanced and mixed diet as per your requirement (and preferably under medical supervision). Also like bio-availability, bio-compactibility matters as well coz some don't digest some foods like others or have allergies. So they will have to compensate via vitamin or supplements.

OMG! You both need to read “Becoming Vegan” by Brenda Davis RD before you try to ever speak on plant based diets.
Please don’t say the “heme form is better”. Your body doesn’t regulate the uptake of hemebased iron. And can lead to hemochromatosis. It is so easy to mix Vit c containing vegetables with spinach, butter leaf lettuce, kale, etc which contains an excellent source of iron. I was anemic when I consumed chicken and fish. But now I am not. I get my iron from my greens! No supplements. There is a lot of biases lurking within this conversation.
Please understand there is a difference between Vegan and Plant Based. Vegan is an ethical choice. Plant based is a health choice. You also failed to mention WHOLE FOODS PLANT BASED as a category.
