TeamLab Borderless - Tokyo's new attraction 2024!
TeamLab Borderless (originally in Odaiba) moved to Azabudai Hills in February 2024. It's new location is permanent and it's a completely immersive experience! This is one of the many TeamLab attractions throughout Japan and this video includes most of the features within the digital museum.
The museum does not feature a map so it can be difficult to find every room (I couldn't find the room named Memory of Topography). It is easy to become lost when looking around so allow plenty of time to explore. The entire space is one large canvas featuring over 50 artworks, many of which flow and move freely between various sections. There are no set walking routes nor clear cut entrances or exits.

Просмотров 18919 часов назад
The Redbrick Warehouse was a place I wanted to visit in Yokohama due to it's variety of independent shops, so I thought this would make a unique and pleasant shopping experience. It's a historical building sitting at the bay of Yokohama that includes a variety of independent shops, cafes, restaurants and events. The warehouse was originally used as a customs building to store imports that were ...

Japan has a number of unique things to do, and one of them that was on my bucket list was a visit to Nara. Nara is probably best known for the deer that wonder parts of the city (particularly Nara Park). You are able to walk right up and feed them. During my first visit I saw many deer, tried Kakigori (a shaved ice dessert), wondered through parts of the city including a shopping arcade, passin...

Earlier in February I visited Minoh Park (also known as Minoo Park). The park runs through forested valleys, running alongside Minoh river. It stretches about three kilometers and begins near Hankyu Minoo Station leading to the Minoh Waterfall. The trail is mostly flat and would take around 45 minutes to complete in one direction leaving from the station. The park passes a few shops, some templ...

A walking tour around Kobe harbour and a visit to Mosaic shopping mall around the waterfront at night. The walk includes scenes of Kobe Port Tower, the Maritime Museum, the Meriken Park Oriental Hotel, shops and restaurants within Mosaic and views of the harbour in twilight. Kobe has many other attractions (some of which I have visited) including Atoa Aquarium, Mount Rokko, Nunobiki Herb Garden...

I visited Cat Cafe Mocha back in February 2024. They have many locations across Japan, but I happened to visit the one in Nagoya. You can buy cat treats when visiting, but are not able to bring your own or feed them with anything else other than the snacks on offer for purchase. Snacks include biscuit treats and lollipops. Lollipops are 550 yen. You'll become their best friend if you choose to ...
Ashikaga Flower Park (Japan's flower fantasy illuminations)

Ashikaga Flower Park holds a number of illumination shows throughout the year. I visited their 'Flower Fantasy Illumination' event when I was there in February. If you decide to visit I would allow most part of a day as travel time can vary depending on what mode of transport you use. The train station is a short walk to the park once you arrive. Prices vary depending what time of year you deci...

It is free to take a look around, but best to visit at...
