Love this! I was going to make the pocket a different way but I think I like your way better. Thanks for sharing.
You are so welcome!
Thank you for this! I really wanted to sew one this year, but as an inexperienced "sewer" I was worried I will mess up the order! So thank you for making it clear and easy. :)
Great gifts I don’t line it tho .i use sticky tape to tape zipper on for easiness the. Sew. 👍 I made tons of these . Jeeps snoopy husbands and kids out of finding your stash cash or in a hotel for traveling keeps the maids from stealing ( yes we have to think of in case when traveling); as they might not look into your coat in the closet to see this hanger safe as I call it . Well done fun project. Thank you vikki from New York
Very informative video thanks 👍
Great work. Thanks for showing
This is what you need for this project. Clear plastic 21 x 24cm (8 1/2 x 9 1/2 ins), 50cm (20ins) of wide bias binding, 60cms (24ins) x 19cm (7 1/2 ins) cotton fabric for handle, 42cm x 6.5cm (16 1/2 x 2 1/2ins) cotton fabric for base of pouch. crazy idea😀😀
Thank you for your kind comments. Is there something you would like to see?
Thank you for such clear well explained instructions! I have had PE Design for 2 years and really struggled
You're very welcome!
Great advice, thanks!
You're welcome.
im still having hard time with this software, its quite complicated, i followed this but i cant get my image to size correctly, it comes in far too big
If you mean the image you are using in the background, you need to reduce it in size in a picture editing programme. Once you know what size works write the size down! You've then got a guide for future images. A lot of cameras and phones take pictures that are way too big for PE design. PED can't reduce their size that's why you need to resize first.
@@ChristineDownSewlush_sewing Thank you Christine, its funny how it sounds obvious once youve been informed... im much wiser now thank you soo much.. Martin
@@wombleok112 you're welcome
What a great tutorial! Thank you from Kentucky, USA.
Thank you.
What a great video. Thank you so much!!!
My sister lost her shepherd two years ago my plan is to stitch out her baby and surprise her. She does so much for everyone and I just want to do something special for her. I know it will mean the world to her. I’ll try to post a picture if I’m able to make it look like a dog lol
It's really sad when you lose a dog. I hope your design works out well. Make sure you start with a good, clear photo. I hope your sister loves it!
Excellent tutorial, very clear and concise
thank you.
Can I select the stich type ? Or it should be auto ?
No you can't select a stitch type when doing photostitch. In effect photostitch is it's own type. I hope this helps.
This was a great tutorial thanks so much xx
Is it possible to create a silhouette image of a photo in PE Design 11?
Yes but not in photostitch. To get a silhouette you would need to open the photo as a background picture and then use the fill tool to trace the photo.
This is fantastic. I'm excited to digitize my daughters handwriting now! Thank you so very much.
You're welcome.
Did you just see the opening for the coins, closed?
I'm sorry I don't understand the question. The purse is closed with the KAMS snaps not sewn closed.
How can I hide my zipper?
I prefer a ordinary zip so the easiest way to hide the zip would be to cut the front top piece a little longer and fold the edge so that it overlaps the front bottom. Then sew the zip so that the zip is hidden by the overlap. Alternatively if you know how to sew an invisible zip you could use one of those.
This was amazing!!! Please do more tutorials using PE Design. I’m trying to learn and you’re an excellent teacher.
Thank you Candy. Is there anything you'd like first?
@@ChristineDownSewlush_sewing thank you for replying. Yes, I would like to understand the basics (if that is possible) about digitizing. Let's say, I would like to digitize someone's handwriting as an example.
@@jcplume Hi Candy, have just made a video showing how to digitize handwriting. What would you like next?
@@ChristineDownSewlush_sewing WOW! I cannot thank you enough for doing this. The video is absolutely fantastic! I want to learn all things about digitizing. LOL. What about making a font thicker/fatter?
The measurements for this stocking are: 38cm high, 19cm wide at the top, 25cm wide at the toe. These measurements include 1cm seam allowance. (16 ins high, 7 1/2 ins wide at top, 10 ins wide at toe). 3/8ths in seam allowance.
Adorei....muito lindo...aqui do Brasil
what type of interfacing ?
I use thin non woven fleece called Thermolam by Vilene
Thank you
I say to use "this glue" on the area under your needle. Of course I mean Eucalyptus Oil !
Thank you so much for this video! You not only explained the what, but also the why.
Thanks Jerry, I hope your design works out well.
Thanks for the inspiration!
Well done Christine. I have always steered clear of zips in bags but you inspire me to have a go with your clear instructions. Some tutorials take 5 minutes to start because the tutor is busy talking about her cat, dog, machine, food, husband, etc. You got straight into it which is what we sewing people want.
Clear instructions step by step. One to revisit when making bags.
Enjoyed the video, clearly explained technique. One to revisit. Thanks
Great bag and instructions are excellent.
Very clear instructions, thank you x
Brilliant. Thanks
thank you, very clear and beautiful bag x
