Cummins Transmission swap in the Desert
Our vacation started off very rough with a broken transmission in the Virgin River Gorge on the way to St. George, Utah. Watch more for the twists and turns we had in the process of getting it all repaired in a matter of 3 days, and thanks to some Good Samaritans and hard workers along the way.

Best way I found to remove the p-clutch roll pins. I hope this helps someone else out after I spent a lot of time and money.
BMW K1600 loaded with CaAm transmission, clutch and air box.

I did couple marketplace deals from 2 very cool people, got a clutch and air box from one and a gearbox from the other. After the deals were done I went and had some Round Table pizza with my buddy Mike(motoguy199) and then went visited Cami and Juan for a little while.

Here is the in car video of our qualifying run for the Race of Kings, King of the Hammers. Our car got tired halfway through and decided to take a nap. 😂 We had a killer run going and were on track for a top 5 qualifying time! We are ok and the car is good.

This was pretty fun. I ran 11.2, only 2 tenths slower than a professional Harley drag racer ran on the same machine. Maybe I should start drag racing, I weigh at least 50lbs less than the pro, that’s gotta be worth a couple of tenths at the track.😃

My gear box will not go into high gear. And if it does it pops out. Any insight on this? Just digging in to learning how these work currently so any insight would be appreciated. Thank you
what are ur suspension settings?
I have the 2021 Cam Am Max XRS smart-shox set on the stiffest setting of the 3 settings.
Awesome video , definitely some good pointers made my life alot easier. I do have a question about gear box internals… my pinion shaft has a gap between the gear and the shaft is that normal ?
Did you ever find the part number for the tool to split the case? I’m having a hard time finding it online and thinking about sacrificing a secondary to get this thing back together lol
How did you do on the race?
I finished 7th in the pro class, loved the track!
