Over the last decade, Randal Ford has become an internationally recognized artist. His works have appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, 20 different Texas Monthly covers, and the cover of Communication Arts, the advertising industry’s most prestigious publication.
Ford has been commissioned to create photographs for brands such as Anheuser Busch, Comcast, Frito Lay, LL Bean, Pepsi, Pfizer, Verizon, & Yeti.
Among other accolades, in 2015, 2016, 2017 Ford was named one of the top 200 photographers worldwide by German-based magazine Lüerzers Archive. In 2017 his animal photographs were awarded 1st place and best of show in the fine art category in the prestigious International Photo Awards competition.
In the Fall of 2018, Ford's series was published in a book, The Animal Kingdom, by renowned publisher Rizzoli New York. The book is available at booksellers everywhere including at Barnes & Noble and Amazon.

Randal, I have never been so moved by a video for animal photography - I love your purpose and the way you photograph these beautiful angels. I enjoy your work both commercial and fine art! I would like to know how you go through the post production process of your animal photos (if there's much tweaking in it or you just straight get most of the picture out of the camera)
I process in Capture One, then retouching in photoshop. There is not a lot of tweaking, mostly just cleaning up the animals so they look beautiful. Thank you!

Hi Pat, thank you! For most of my portrait work, I use a 50mm prime lens. Occasionally, I go tighter than that with a zoom but try to stick to the 50 because it's so sharp.
As an animal photographer myself in the UK (pics4paws) . I am in awe of theses photographs and your ability to command the attention of the subjects.........more videos please. David Shortland.
