Power comes at the expense of accuracy/precsion/consistecy. You can toss it with more power, but what is it worth if you miss wildly?
Much more powerful if you atatch a staff to it. Staff slings can use bigger rock and generates more speed, power, and damage.

The technical term for this is the STROBOSCOPIC EFFECT of the propellor speed and the frame rate setting of the camera. This can make high rotation parts appear stationary. It is used to closely inspect engine components whilst the engine is running.
