We tried to get to this beach yesterday but there is no longer such access. There's a massive fence with yellow warning signs on and no path whatsoever to get through.

There is not such a great difference between Egremni Gialos beach Megali Petra or Mylos and is the same water,(west coast),what always makes the difference is how pure they can leave the place without beach bars,umbrellas and beach chairs....Kathisma was wonderful and now it is unrecognizable...if you go to Egremni by boat and hundreds of people show up the place will look like hell instead of paradise

One of the worst and misleading presentations on RUclips I have ever seen. I saw so many people going back from the road, maybe that even saw your presentation, cause they didn't find the road. You film in so many directions that the main and good road is actually lost from sight. And to make things even worse, you use background music ???, instead of maybe talking and explaining what you are showing us in your clip ... I managed to get to Fteri, which was a Heavenlish beach, BUT NOW WITH THE HELP OF YOUR RUclips CLIP !! You just need to follow the red signs on the road and you will get pretty easily to Fteri, so you don't need to make any clip on RUclips to get there (and you even did it BADLY, with misleading info).

It's only accessible by boat - otherwise it's too dangerous. So sad to see the best beach in the world ruined by a fucking earthquake :(

Thanks for posting this vid - we did it August 2019, the new road is well under construction. Enjoyed the rope descent and climb at the end!

The road is very different now. The car lane is build until the stairs part, but unfortunately the stairs are in far worse condition than in this video. The last part where the rope is to be used, no visible stairs can be seen anymore. This bit was very scary as the ground in very unstable, but I did manage to go down and up in flip flops. I highly recommend to wear sneakers.

Egremni road is still closed this year, if anyone is interested, no visible improvement since last year.

I was there in 2017 and we got down on the ropes and enjoyed the secluded beach. One of the most beautifull beaches in the world.

the beach does not look nice on this video - may be the earthquake ruined its previously better shape... Arkutino beach on the Black Sea, for example, is better in terms of sand quality, sand dunes size and landscape view.
