I think that Ash training with his reserves before the Masters 8 is the best of both worlds. Ash’s main team can take the spotlight on the biggest state, while his reserves can take some of the royalties for helping prop them up to higher strengths. And the show pleases a wider demographic while maintaining high quality. I like that. Also, Paul’s episode had better be Iwane’s best animated one in JN so far after not soloing in 5 months 😤

Can there also be a Project Linky?

Idk how hot of a take this is, but the only 2 reserves I see Ash bringing back for the M8 are Infernape (redemption from Moltres) and Greninja (finally win against Alain). But I personally want Ash to just use his JN ‘mons. They deserve all of the spotlight over ‘mons who’ve already received their spotlight in previous leagues (this is the reason why I don’t want Ash to battle Alain 😂, where Kermit was almost tied to their rivalry)
