My channel is about Deer Hunting and other Hunting, Fishing, Camping, and enjoying outdoors. My go to fish are Crappie, Salmon, Bluegill, and Walleye. I Ice Fish as well as from my boat and kayak. I like to show off the hacks that I have learned for fishing and hunting along with my experiences. God Bless
I paid for Guide and shared the knowledge. #whitefish #greenbay
How to Fish for Whitefish. This is what I learned by hiring a fishing guide to learn how to catch whitefish in Green Bay / Sturgeon Bay area.
We were actually in Sturgeon Bay area. We used wax worms on the slip hooks and a jig head with grub tail on the end (see video) to resemble a goby on the bottom. We learned the cadence needed to attract the whitefish and what cadence to switch to land that bite.

Dropped my equipment down the ice hole! #icefishing #bluegill
Просмотров 124День назад
Had another good day of ice fishing. I caught some crappie and blue gill. While fishing, I ended up dropping a piece of my reel into down the ice hole. I was able to recover it fortunately. I had a good video with my Garmin Panoptics Livescope. Unfortunately, only one fish catch could line up with the screen because the screen was too bright inside the shanty and washed out. #bluegill #crappie ...

Got a Dream Come True Buck during the 2nd Rut, December 2024. I had an opportunity to shoot this buck back in October when he was just at the end of my driveway one morning. I passed on him because there wasn't much of a story behind it so I decided to film him instead. Fast Forward through modern gun season and the first rut, I started seeing him again. He was grazing like crazy trying to rega...

You mean you don't go months without bathing, fill your backpack with emptied beer cans with rocks in them. BO and old beer covers scent and then the rattling of the rocks and cans covers your footsteps
🤣😂
Nice set up!
Thanks!

At least you got it back! A couple of the ponds I fish finally thawed out. I posted a video and a short of what happened after the ice was gone I invite you to check it out! Keep up the good work!
I'll check it out!
@ Thanks! both ponds were frozen over about four days ago. thanks for your support!
@SteveHenning-ex4tn likewise!
I've got a vine in a small oak, for about 3 years now, I have taken 2 bucks so far, 1 nice 8, and 1 nice 9 point, I do the same thing, but when I first make it a will pore a bottle of cheap doe of urine on my homemade scrape works great . if you find an area where you bump or jump deer, that is the area you want, that or a good trail next to a creek that the deer use a lot, it works great
Nice! Thanks for the share
Never had a chance to go ice fishing don’t get that cold here in Arkansas looks like some quality stuff. Great video!
Its a different experience for sure. You get used to the cold during the season. Thank you
Looks cold 🥶 but fun!
It's for sure cold. Gotta use the shanty
Nice, fish fry!
Bluegill are pretty tasty
🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🎣🧊🧊🧊👍
Thank you
Good video.
Thank you!
Nice video… except those glasses!
Lol, Go Pack Go!
Nice!
I thought it was a cool point of view
Was this video based on a scientific study? I guess he knows more than chemists and biologists who create scent blockers? Glad i found this video of anecdotes.
Based off my experiences and me using those scent blockers and still getting busted. Also, I'm a police K9 Handler who played with the "scent control" while training and it not making a difference. Deer's nose is more sensitive than dog's. I just don't advertise my police career on my channel as much.
Does it have reverse?
Yes, just peddle backwards.
Great buck! What region of Indiana are you in? I’m from the Evansville area.
Northwest, La Porte County
I use a 📢 and yell "Ahh 🦌 I'm on my way into my stand! Don't get Spooked" seems to work I never see any spooked 🦌...
🤣😅
300,000,000 old factory nerves? Dang
Crazy I know
Ontario Rifle season usually leaves are down Bow season Here Oct 1st to Dec 14
Yeah, about the same as well.
I usually rake my trail pick up sticks and stones no noise and no twisted ankles to ruin the hunt
Thats impossible for me, my peak hunting days in the woods is as the leaves are falling. I would rake them, just for the patch to be covered again a few days later. I do remove sticks though
Just because you asked brother it payed off new subscriber an l a like
Lol, thank you!
Now I'm hungry for beef roast
Lol
I think you have a fish on
Probably
You gotta use the dark to your advantage, deer aint as skeerd in the dark as they are during they day.. Get in early and leave late, I've had deer come up to the stand within 20 min of getting into the stand to investigate the noise, numerous times. You cant shoot them of course, cause its too dark. But there not scared, and usually return during shooting hours while browsing.
True, thanks for sharing
Soooooo..... Just started hunting this year. Didn't know the sounds of a doe or a buck a few weeks ago. I'm strolling down left and right of my shooting lane and I stop because at the time what i thought was a wild boar. Nope! Two SOB'S bout made me shit myself 😂. It was a big 9 and 12 point fighting. They both stopped fighting turned an gave me a grunt snort wheeze or that's what my cousin an buddy told me after they looked at my trail cam . They both bout died laughing. I said well I done killed a nice 8 point this year I may be done after that. Lmao.😂
Lol, that's awesome!
Snappie
Lol
I know this is a lot of work but what I did was rake a trail straight to my stand on private property all the way through the woods. The ground itself is so quiet that I could hear every other sound in the woods as I walked in the dark with a red lens on my flashlight. I would rake the trails 2 weeks before bow season started to give things time to quiet back down before season started.I hunted on a particular private property in Indiana for 10 years and I took 44 deer. This was also in the 90s when deer populations had boomed in Indiana and we were allowed as many as 5 deer in a season. 1 buck and 4 does at one point. It was common to see 20 to 25 Does in one large group there.I also put doe in heat on my boots to keep my human scent even more hidden.I have years of video footage to enjoy the rest of my life.
Thats great! Did you ever have to re-rake the trail?
@@Get-2-ItOutdoors for the most part no..I did this when most leaves had already fell from the tree's
@dalegentry8044 thank you
Love the bluesky 360. I dont think its a kayak though. Looks more like a skiff lol
Most all animals use all their senses to survive. They use hearing site sounds smells all together and take no chances. They can smell long and hear long before you see them and escape.
Thanks for watching! Merry Christmas
AMAZING Buck, Congratulations!
Thank you!
It's a crossbow, not a bow, Did you not to expect to find the deer, it surprised you??
Lol! No, the blood on tree like that. The word "bow" is right in the word crossbow. It's a bow, just not a compound bow or one you approve of?
Congrats...buck of a lifetime
Thank you
Amazing
Thanks, he was a great buck!
Nice!
Thanks!
# High fenced
Nope, watch my scenario video from October. You'll see
how much you pay for him lol
Pay? Didn't pay. No high fence hunt or ranch. Wild boy
Watch my scenario video posted in October. You'll see
Can only try to control what you bring in to the woods i use everything ozone soap spray i use bins
And you'll still get busted
timing works where I am okay, sometimes I can go to a different spot other than a stand that I like but 2 am in the morning I may want to scare them off somewhat and place myself somewhere wind doesn't cause a problem and wait for them to return about twighlight time, the scent change I may use at times is if I see left over apples on any wild trees and cover my clothes with a rotten apple
Interesting, thanks for share
Very nice, congratulations and God bless.
Thank you very much!
Nice buck!
Thank You! It was unbelievable
🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌👍
Thank you
Thx
Thanks for watching
Thanks and God bless.
Thank you!
There is a few cover scents that actually do work -Scent Thief is the best I have tried ….ive yet to have a deer blow at me ….both my public land bucks last year came straight down wind ….its nothing for a deer to bed 40 yards from me and sit there all morning or a deer to stand directly over my ground scent where I put my layers and bibs on before climbing up …I’ve had it happen several times…..and to the naysayers that say well the deer must have been not affected because your thermals…..that would be hard for me to believe because almost every deer that comes in I watch stop and throw there nose up and sniff for 5-10 seconds then they go back to acting normal …. Scent Thief is a game changer go try it for yourself 🦌🦌
Interesting! Never heard of Scent thief. Thanks for the share
@ tractor supply or bass pro has it ….i try to tell everyone i see …I spray down before going in…spray 360 around the base of my tree …then I spray myself down again once I’m done climbing my tree ….ive had great luck on Alabama public land with it for 3 years now ….i even walked up 30 yards on a down wind coyote 👍🏼
@MarvinWafflehouse91 Thank You!
British Columbia. Okanagan. December Bow season. Advice for first year archer?
Later deer season, the deer will start herding up. Get to know their bedding areas if you haven't already. In herds, deer start visiting open field areas more comfortably. Set up just outside field or the corridor from bedding area to field.
@Get-2-ItOutdoors cool. Thx. Not much 'field' here. These deer seem to be bedding on the forested, old cut, south facing, slope. And moving down south to graze food or water. They seem to have an abundance of cover and browse. Aside from human pressure, I think the biggest complication for these deer, is that the highway is between their south facing mixed forest slope, and the plentiful water of the river. The river side of the highway , has a large north facing slope. Its December, it's below zero Celsius most nights and some days. There is plentiful snow on the ground. I haven't found a significant water supply, on the north side ooff the highway, (south facing slope) The River, is the primary reason I think the deer have to approach and cross the highway. All that leaves me still wondering, How to find my 'nocturnal' deer during daylight, if they are bedded up on the large northern mountain, on the plentiful south facing slopes, with abundant mixed cover and graze....
If they are bedding, up further north, further up the south facing slope, And if they are not truly nocturnal, and not spending the entire day bedded down in some secluded corner of the mountain slope, ... Do you think they would be Midday grazing around, periodically, further up the south facing slope? (further from the highway?)
@jonathanbennison9220 I understand you live in a completely different area, but, I feel the best times for movement start at break of dawn to a few hours after sunrise and a few hours before sunset all the way to sunset. Yes, deer do get out in the middle of the day but that seems too random. My favorite time is towards sunset personally
I already agree personally. I can use the midday daylight to scout or stalk into a position, And be ready before sunset. I definitely already prefer that to predawn. Although I find if I have a good moon, plus the snow cover, I have plenty of light predawn to get into position.
