Polar Express is kind of Hit or Miss. I love it because you know I grew up with it both the book and the movie however, with all the recent adaptations of picture books that have come out in the past 10 years, I respect polar Express for actually trying. It doesn't wink at the camera and and doesn't treat its audience like it's dumb Oh one more thing I forgot to put on my initial comment. That is like something the movie should have gotten Oscar for is soundtrack phenomenal and I'm not talking about the parts that are like a musical I'm talking about like the ambient background themes which are pretty timeless.

I hit the "more button" and the list was completely different. my favorite would be Owl Moon; however, I have not read Hello Harvest Moon(but I am intrigued to look for and possibly share next year in my classroom).
