Are you able to add or remove voxels at runtime on a voxy bundle or asset?
yes you can, I can make a tutorial on that as well, ps: VoxyBundle is just a container to hold multiple VoxyAsset (the actual voxel volumes)
@@SaeidGholizade That would be great! Because I am curious if you are able to have a island landmass that is made up a VoxyBundle (if the limit of that allows for the size needed) or multiple different assets to then be able to add and remove on those at runtime.

looks like crap! honestly i am using the Voxel pro for ue5 and it is built rather poorly. Yes, there are tools inside the voxel pro but for the editing only. it gives very little for the developer to create tools for the players to use. I can make my character dig and build but i am left with either a sphere or a box. no cylinders, hexagons or such. the bounds are tide to world locations and not to set values that can be edited. for instance, if i multiply the zed it works but when i multiple the X or Y it moves the location to somewhere else in the world. Ugh! Saeid please FIX this product and get it right. the box needs a world location, but its X, Y and Z should be sized editable the sphere has the world location, but you didn't add that for the box? get a clue.

question, I try to merge the actor so i can use it in other levels but once is merged the objects don't have the same scale and there is space in between

@@SaeidGholizade ue 5.4.4 voxy 0.8.8.I opened the Epic client and did not find any needed updates; refreshing many times gave the same result.

Can you change the voxel size and change the voxel textures yet?
there is a voxel size in plugin setting within the project setting, it will set all voxels overall size, and for texture you already can use a texture, you need to have a 16x16 slices of textures in a texture pack, so each slice represent one of colors in palette, I will make a tutorial soon.
@@SaeidGholizade Can the texture be a different blocks so if i select "blue" can i assign a dirt texture to it vs if i select "red" can it be a stone texture.

Apart from the voxel color, is any other information from the MagicaVoxel material settings taken? And the second question: what does the geometry look like with such import? I mean, is each voxel imported separately or are they combined into larger solids?
I have access to all material data, but not going to use it in this update, already took 3 weeks to prepare this, will push that into future updates, and voxel data transfer to native voxy's voxel data, you can edit them just like a normal voxel.

@@SaeidGholizade is there a techinal reason for RGB instead of RGBA in palettes, or just MagicaVoxel legacy? Would be awesome to have Alpha for masking in materials UE supports 32bit RBA i believe
@@nthr I am using alpha channel for utility purposes like selecting, but will find another way to utilize alpha.

sadly the import vox tool either does nothing or crashes at the moment...
have you updated to the new version, I have solved the reported issues with vox import. please send me an email about your issue to track it down.
@@SaeidGholizade I just did, it doesn't crash anymore but if you scale the grid down to 32x32 and save the asset nothing actually gets serialized, you end up with an empty asset when you close and reopen the file, should be easy to repro

This is really good! But when I click, the meshes stay in the air, they don't move or fall and I have gravity checked. Any idea how to fix this? I use unreal 5.4
would you please try 2 thing, 1- select the object and use enable gravity for selected button on top of the paint place tab 2- open the mesh and see it has collision
@@SaeidGholizade I checked Enable gravity for selected actors and the meshes have colisions. I also tried in a very new scene as well.

@@SaeidGholizade Hey! I found the problem! I wanted to spawn small rocks as debris but in the collision tab I had the option ' Use Complexe colision as simple' checked, I uchecked it and it works now :)

I'm not an Unreal Engine developer or user, but man this is cool And bloody hell the processing speed of it, I know that Voxels are notorious for huge polycounts and therefore slowdowns but wow these render and process fast, and that's with _physics_ Correct me if I'm wrong but from what I understand it also supports textures on voxels, which makes it's speed all the more impressive

Can you change the size of the voxel?
you can set the global voxel size in project setting, but I am planning to add a per-volume voxel size as well
@@SaeidGholizade If I go into project settings does that bring up the voxel size in general instead of yours being small?

Thanks for this addon! I have been playing with it for a bit and noticed that sometimes it does not recognize some geo. So for example, it doesnt cast a ray and then I do not get a red ball. Is it based on geo or collisions?
if I can remember correctly, it was based on mesh collision, maybe I change it to hitproxy and read the gbuffers next time I update it!
