Yes, you absolutely right!
The exercise of Tuishou it's a training for striking, not wrestling. Through a work of contact a person learn how to release the correct power. In real combat or even in Sanshou exercise the student will punch the opponent not pushing the opponent. Pushing-pulling it's a practical and safe way to express the correct power.

Black guy looks like XingYi indeed ; white guy is performing the classic Wu style XiaoJiia (yi lu - first one, there's many xiao jias)
The one you are referring to is the one in black right? Just from the opening movement, it has a Xingyiquan feel to it. It could be just a Xingyiquan form.
