Honestly I think it’s a bit better than Gotchard impressive as tie in movie are usually worse than the show Also the sun is possessed how does that work why even add it as it’s worthless to the plot

Definitely my favorite Reiwa movie and is up there with Zero one. I like how this showcases Gotchard’s main theme of overcoming your own personal trauma and how your memories are the things that make you who you are. I really liked how Houtaro could see that the sun chemy was trying to talk reach out to Daybreak Houtaro and reminded him about what he used to stand for which made him finally hear Rinne’s voice. My main criticism is that I really wished this movie was longer mostly because I wanted to see Rinne and Kajiki bond more with the new characters. Overall this was movie was a 7.5/10.

Lowkey agree with you. The more I thought about it, it's fitting that Buffa didn't get a visual change for his final form cause he's really a simple man who wants to end all Riders/DGP activity. Him getting a final form would look like he's indulging in something he wants to finish and move on from.

Actually, the King of Mons suit used in this Episode is actually a new suit created for Arc. It’s not the original suit from the Hyperbattle in Space Movie.

I would say OOO is a much better fit for ruler, his powers come from a king eiji having no greed or desire is literally the focal point of his character and just giving berserker because of putotyra seemed a bit redundant to me, it was like throwing away every single other more prevalent aspect of his character

I think this episode & episode 7 are both great episodes, in that they really make you wish they did more in previous episodes. In episode 7, the creation of the luna armor is connected to the impact Yuma’s mom had on him. Which makes me wish we got to see the impact his dad had on him on episode 4, where he got the solis armor. This episode had Arc & Givas teaming up against King of Mons, which kinda makes me wish we got Earth Garon & Givas fighting together in the blazar collab, but I guess because nobody said to help ultraman, Givas never came at that time. Speaking of Givas, give my friend some repairs & upgrades, he seriously deserves it.

Usually more emotional episodes tend to have more human or alien screentime than the actual fight itself. I think having less of the fight would've worked better to get us more attached to the characters more. For example, Aoi says that she listenened to her parents nagging, so I would've liked to seen a conversation between them (in-person or on a phone call) to experience what Aoi is feeling. All of her problems that caused her to break and summon King of Mons should've been longer as well as her time with the "Dream Bird" showing the impact of her life getting better because of its companionship. However, I do love the great action sequence that this episode gave us. The unique camera angles and transitions in the fight really makes it the standout part of this episode and may be one of the most memorable fights in the series. Givas appearing was cool, and I liked it didn't exactly come out of nowhere since we had a two-parter prior to establish that the character exists and is on good-terms with our hero, so it was a welcome surprise. Even through Gaia doesn't appear in the episode, I do not mind. Yes, it makes sense since it is King of Mons that they're fighting but I think it works better in the story's favour if Givas appeared as we already had a 4-part crossover with Blazar that already took up half of the second part of Arc. Gaia appearing would've have gotten a cheer out of me, but ultimately Givas works in the story's favour (depending if they utilize him well in the next couple of episodes). These last 2 episodes were overall pretty good and I hope that plot points like the Ooze and GDF guy Ishido talked to converge together in the finale.

So I actually did think about King of Mons coming back however I haven't watched Ultraman Gaia yet so I know little to no information on the character.

Kaguya in a way is kinda like Zi-O with a Decade skin, Can transform into other riders, summon other riders, his final form is Golden, is in a way a ruler of sorts

I don't know if I've seen that crystal monster before. Maybe I have when I was watching Return of Ultraman.

I think they made Arc's galaxy armor too OP in this episode. Usually, after ultras get their finals forms in their debut episodes, the next episodes show new attacks. In Blazar, he gained his signature bow attack after the debut episode of the Firdran armor, nothing too much. But in this case, the galaxy armor goes from general ultra man final form stuff with portals, to committing mass genocide on ghost taganulars, and he killed like OVER A THOUSAND OF THEM. THat's giving Zero a run for his money.

Kamen Rider The NEXT is basically a horror movie and a pretty good one at that

i never got the complaints with Plosion Rage when its his "Extra Final" Jyamashin is still his final form that still exists, as shown with the final Beroba fight, its basically his Ultra Instinct: he can only ever pull it out when at the very prime/peak of willpower and intensity Plosion Rage still works and makes sense cause of the Jyamato genes, it practically finishes that whole arc the show didnt, and if they didnt, both Geats and Michi as a character wouldve been more flawed How the form itself is, is subjective, but personally i love it, Silver/Purple is always hit-or-miss color palate choice and i think it works great here to counteract Jyamashins Gold state, His Zombie Breaker now becoming a Giant Hand full of Saw Claws is, intentionally, Metal af, and the name is literal: Plosion Rage = Poison Explosion Rage and personally out of all final dual buckle looks, He has my favorite
