In this video I show you that some tape can be used to fix an issue with the battery in the GoPro Hero9 action camera where the loose battery may cause the recording to suddenly stop or become corrupted to do excess or high vibration such as on a drone. Thanks, very useful info. I have three of those things and two of the chargers with the first now calibrated to within 0.002v. Awesome. BTW, I was concerned about having thrown away some of the boxes at first but found the number was displayed on the PW screen already and all I had to do was copy it.

After the update is 100% my rx goes again in rapid green flashing mode and tx shows binding in progress, no matter how many times I repeat the process it ends in rapid green flashing state 😢 Please help.

I get my drone to bind and update but once I swap battery the receiver gets unbind and starts flashing fast. You think this would fix it 🤔
Hi, I do the whole process like you do, only that when I unplug the quad and plug it back in, it loses the bind, and every time I have to redo the same operation, has this ever happened to you? How can I fix?
A few things to try to rule out a few things otherwise your receiver is broken/defective and needs to be replaced by TBS Support: 1) Have you tried different firmware and downgrading? The latest one that has encryption has caused some issues for people. 2) Power up the receiver first and then the transmitter first to establish a bind?
@@OfficialMatrixFPV I did many tests, I followed various guides including yours but all without success, on the rx it doesn't let me downgrade, on the tx yes, I tried but nothing happens, I tried to bind by turning on the rx first and then the tx, then in reverse, but every time I disconnect and reconnect the battery it loses the bind, in fact I'm sending it back, because something like this has never happened to me until today, and the only tool to restore the rx is a tbs core pro which costs around 40-50$
You might not ever have that issue if you power the rx first and then press the bind button. Don’t hold the bind button as you power up the rx. I’m pretty sure you should never do that.

I know this is an older video. I followed the steps and everything went as it shows in your video. Bound up and works perfectly... but when I unplug the battery and then wait and go to re-connect a battery it is just flashing again and I have to go thru process again... Kind of lost in where to go from here... Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks
Have you been able to downgrade and try other firmware, I would try different types to see if binding is stable? It's rare that binding has issues with TBS - check with what others might be saying about the latest FW on the TBS Facebook group. You can definitely get more support by asking there or opening up a ticket with their support - they are fantastic and will do their best to make things right.
@@OfficialMatrixFPV I ordered some new Nano Rx's but haven't gotten them yet. So I went to a buddies house tonight and borrowed his spare Nano rx and it bounded up perfectly and is holding bind as it should. 👍
@@P.G._FPV That seems like your Rx is faulty. You might be able to TBS to replace it free of charge.

Too bad the Golden Gate Bridge was half wrapped in the marine layer. Would've been great to see you fly around that. Seemed cut short. We're you worried about all that moisture interfering with operating of the drone?
Yeah I agree. I would have flown more, but the sunset and the visibility was deteriorating fast. With this drone used in the video, I've had issues with moisture - luckily not this flight. Moisture is not an issue with my newer drones. I'm planning to do a flight again to the Golden Gate Bridge hopefully at the of August 2022 with my newer drones.

Thanks! I would make sure you are aware of any local regulations and air space. And ensure you are not operating any drones in any NPS zones as drones are forbidden - ie Golden Gate Park. Let me know if you have any other questions. Good luck and safe flying.

5. Release the bind button when green led flashes rapidly For me, after I press the LED for about 5-7 seconds, it becomes solid green. And the transmitter is unable to detect it.

Thanks! It was my first time in a real production studio and differs style of unbiased unboxing and of course I’m testing lots of different stuff on the market. Will try to get more out there. Drone production and design is really expensive esp if I’m aiming for the best.

My receiver doesn't stop to blink fast after pressing the button for the second time. The green light even blinks rapid when I don't press the button and connect the battery. All of that happened after the first bind failed in updating. :/

ok just tried this and now when I turn on my radiomaster I am not getting an orange light on my tbs module. no light at all. any help please
I’m not familiar with an orange light LED color per their manual. I would factory reset and try the binding again. Emergency update procedure is done on the receiver level, the transmitter will know how to bind from there.

I just pluged the usb lead in and used tbs agent x , the orange light started flashing as soon as I loadeed the app. it flashed for about 30seconds and was done. cheers.
what do you use for your fpv system to keep signal at long range?
Sorry for the late reply - I use high gain and directional video antennas (FPV) and TBS Crossfire 915MHz (control) for this setup.
