Aah 2008. That's when my craze for land rovers started and I got to know about defendera at the age of 6. It's sad Land Rover doesn't make the defender as it used to be or atleast followed a similar concept like the old ones.

Mainly traction control , why should engine stall .?

Center-difflock + 4L + 1st gear.. 👌🏻

Anti stall works on 1mph in low range. great when you are using a hand winch, you can get out and winch and let the car get traction, drop the winch and climb back in to stop it again. Also good in major traffic jams when towing

gotta love the low RPM torque you can only get from a diesel! This is the proper way to get unstuck. slowwwwwwww power on the wheels and slightly turning the wheel in either direction till it gets grip.

If you let the clutch out on a diesel, it doesn't want to stall, especially with no force pushing against it (letting the clutch out while it has to carry its own weight as if on a street compared to letting the clutch out in sand, when its just moving sand... you get what I mean)

its not an automatic. even my 200TDI can do that. 1st gear on low has so much torque it will not stall the engine

@VIDEOZAL If you are up to date with what the British army now use you will know that we no longer use landrovers on operations, only in the uk on exercises. As for my logic, Certain brands are tried and tested, of high quality, leading to military interest in those brands. Like Sig pistols for instance are used by both Brittan, Switzeland and US navy seals. Thus it must be a good product
