is this all possible on a Memcard pro 2 i know about FreePSXBoot working on it but does Unirom also work on it?

Do you think this would work woth Bitfunx PSXMemCard ? It too uses an sd card, I know freeboot is supposed to work but i'm wondering about the auto memory card save feature
Memcard pro and sd2psx are the only memory card devices that have implemented game id features as far as I am aware.

are you using a special version of OPL? Do you know if this works with the GrimDoomer version of OPL that supports exfat internal hdd with iso's?
Special version of OPL for game ID transmission. This has now been superseded by a new method of history based game-ID sniffing. As a result you don't even need a special version of OPL and it also supports disc loading. No homebrew loader app required!
@@ManicModder so did you need to update the firmware on your sd2psx to the latest? I don't think I have updated mine in about 6 months
@@lilkuz2005 Yes, the new firmwares are only available in the PS2 Scene discord at the moment. Still some work to do before stable release.
Please help, I do the same as you and when you select the memory card in the menu it does nothing, I don't get that green loading bar or anything.....

Switch between normal virtual memory cards with the two buttons on the SD2PSX memory card. If you are using the Game ID function (with XStation, Unirom, or custom bios) the card automatically switches for you when you load up a new game.
