18 hole gameplay 'Wing Da'Foot East Course' on GS Pro using the Square Golf Launch Monitor. First time I've ever had a bad misread from the SG launch monitor on the 5th hole 2nd shot (used a mulligan for this). Also finally set up the offset for my screen which has made a huge difference!
GS Pro - The Fold At Eastwood (18 Holes)

18 holes on 'The Fold At Eastwood' GS Pro using the Square Golf Launch Monitor. 5 Wood off the tee maximum due to height restrictions.
GS Pro - Greywolf Golf Course (Front 9)

Greywolf Golf Course Front 9 on GSPro from the blue tees (sadly can only hit 5 wood max in my setup). Using the Square Golf Launch Monitor which officially has a connector available for download on their website. Extremely responsive launch monitor as always. I couldn't be happier taking the dive into GS Pro as the graphics and functionality of the software is simply top draw!

I appreciate you sharing the vids ! Question though, how to you zoom in to your aim point ? Also, you only tee off with 5 wood ? your game is pretty solid
@@KuduBal to zoom to the aim point from memory it's by hitting the J key on the keyboard and then arrow keys to move the aimpoint 😀 when on GS Pro playing a round if you hit the TAB key it will bring up all the keyboard shortcuts too! I've printed off tiny labels on each individual key so it's easy for me to use the keyboard without having to hit tab! Yes, sadly I can only hit 5 wood due to height restrictions but looking to get this changed in the near future as I'd love to be able to hit driver and play from the back tees. Thank you, I'm a 1.5 handicap in real life 😀
@@Aharvey1 awesome, thanks! I have no issue with 3 wood in 9f ceiling, but have to choke down with driver. will lift ceiling when i have a free weekend. i have about 2f free. cheers
How are you liking the square overall?
@@danielbolton3889 absolutely spot on! They've not long released a big firmware and OS update which has improved a lot of issues (mainly customers suggestions) but side spin being the biggest improvement. It's also introduced the use of Taylormade TP5 & TP5x PIX balls to be used with accurate results! If you're thinking of getting one I can highly recommend it. I've honestly had only 3-4 complete misreads since owning the device which is coming near 5 months now which is amazing. The good thing with SG is they listen to customers and are constantly updating their firmware etc to better the launch monitor!
@Aharvey1 I've got one on order as of Friday. I can't wait! Do you use the native software much to play? I don't know if my laptop will run GSPro. It only has a 1660ti graphics card and they recommend a 3060. Maybe I can turn down the settings and it will be OK. I don't really want to have to buy a new PC if I can get by with it. It's an HP Omen from like 2019.
@@danielbolton3889 you'll love it! It's honestly a great bit of kit. I did before they released the GS Pro connector and it is still very good... They have more courses they will be releasing but when is the question but they are shadowed out in the courses selection so hopefully soon! I ended up buying a pc for £800 to run GS Pro software but I run it in ultra settings with a 4060ti graphics card and it keeps up well! I wouldn't have a clue with your laptop but you can set the graphics to low on GS Pro so I'm sure it would still work but may just get a slight lag when it's following the ball or during a flyover etc
@@Aharvey1 Thank you for the insight! I'm really looking forward to it. If I can remember I'll report back once I get it all setup!
@@danielbolton3889 of course! If you come across any issues I will more than likely be able to help with setting up correctly etc 😀
Looks great Ash. Is this laptop or desktop, spec? Also 1080p ultra?
@@aljames7345 thankyou! I have a desktop pc with a 4060ti graphics card and run GS Pro under very high graphics and the largest size screen setting possible. The 4060ti card doesn't hesitate or lag at all under these settings. I'm not 100% sure on the 1080p ultra but I've always ran it in 1080p HD as my projector is only capable of that. The RUclips content being max 1080p may be down to the software I use to edit the videos as I believe I have set that to 1080p 60fs output so the file size isn't huge. Are you looking into getting GS Pro?
Well looks amazing. You played blinder game there too. Yes I’m wanting gspro but my setup is into a net outdoors (with garmin r50). I don’t have a laptop yet and was wondering on spec. I want to run it 1080 ultra ideally but realise I will need at least 4060 card with 24-32gb ram?
@@aljames7345 aha thankyou! I'm starting to upload videos as much as I can and have a fair few others uploaded! Honestly it's hands down amazing software! Yeah I would say so for 1080p ultra it may be slightly overkill but that's what I've gone with is a 4060ti graphics card and 32gb ram as I simply didn't want it to struggle and could even potentially run 4k graphics with that graphics card too! Apparently so I read online laptops graphics cards don't operate and perform as well as desktop ones! I bought my pc off eBay for £705 on a black Friday deal... This is the link 😀 www.ebay.co.uk/itm/115962545517?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=BCGUU3iTTsq&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=78qoXtv6STO&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
How are u Liking the square ?
I responded to you on my previous video 😀
@ just seeing if you still feel if u still feel the same way. I have mine now and seeing if u found anything u don’t like if u a have had any issues. I have had a couple but have had Customer service give me a few ideas.
@@michaelnewburn-e5j what issues have you found? My only issue is the aim point not being on target to the pin each time and having to manually move it... Other than this I've not experienced any other issues and it's been flawless!
@@Aharvey1 froze up when I was Seeing how the mulligans worked. Hit a couple of drivers well that showed shirt rollouts. They said I need to ensure it’s centered in the square not close to the edges.
@@Aharvey1 new update rolling out. Do you know how to update it?
Subbed. Please show some more actual play. I assume you were using swing stick. How did you control aim? Stick or remote? Thanks for posting.
No I was using real clubs and the square golf balls that come with the kit! The aim point you click on either side of the screen to move, just annoying that it's never on target for me and always have to move it quite a lot. The remote does work but I tend to use my phone to change the aim point as it's much more responsive! I will try and get another video uploaded within the next couple of weeks or so!
Uploading another video now which will be on to view shortly!
How are u liking it so far??
@@michaelnewburn-e5j honestly really enjoying it! It reads every shot and I feel it's incredibly accurate as it's 100% helped with my accuracy on the real course. A big bonus from doing a little research... This can now be paired with GS Pro which I am looking into doing eventually. There's another guy on RUclips who uses this launch monitor with GS Pro through a third party software (free to use). 10 courses built into the square golf application currently but showing another 10 greyed out which I'd imagine will be released quite soon! The driving range, closest to the pin and putting simulations do not require any internet connection to play, only the course play requires internet which for me was a struggle at the start as my set up is in the garage. I've ended up running an ethernet cable directly from the IP router to an access point router for connection as it was very temperamental before hand and would be waiting for ages for another hole to load if not at all so just be warned a good internet connection is needed! Other than mentioned in the description about the alignment to the hole on almost every shot in gameplay not being directly pointing at the pin, it's honestly amazing for the price! I paid the £800 fee and it's now £700 I believe. But again I believe this may be down to me using the mobile app and not the PC downloaded app (yet to test this). Hope this helps!
