Yep, CarShield is a scam. They will not cover anything. Always will be a maintenance issue. Just put $150 to $200 in a savings account, because they're going to charge that much to not cover you.

After a day or two they knew you need different stuff from the beginning They paid Ice T too much money now they can not pay their bill I look for them to file chapter 11

Car Shield is paying celebrities and sport stars BIG BUCKS to advertise their product, but little to be known to people that they make you jump through hoops to get your car repaired.

Edwin, my niece suggested the same thing to me and my sister; however, you need a little cushion to start with just in case you need repairs right away, but that is a good idea.

Its a scam and no lawyer will ever take your case for free or for less than the cost of a new car.

What's the line they use? "It's in the details." They don't cover the details very well. When it comes to warranties, ask a trusted mechanic, not the one's that are giving you a sell job for a commission.

The consumer protection agency as well as the attorney general needs to shut down these rip off 3rd party extended warranties. The shop that fixes my vehicle says to stay away from them. They must be paying Ice T $$$$ to be on the Car Shield tv commercials.

I just found out how crappy they are. I was hit by a hit-and-run driver on 10/5/23. On 10/6/23 I called to cancel my policy. They put through my payment the same day. Now they are refusing to refund the money for this month.

I had some coverage awhile back and it was another company but when my car broke down,they wouldn't fix it even though I paid a payment every month.This is why I don't mess with these companies anymore especially when I heard many others having the same problem.It's a scam.

Yes unfortunately I have car sheild myself but what happened is started having problems with my engine and there's a part of my engine is not working properly so I call car shield and they don't cover that part of the engine that doesn't work properly so it might say engine that's covered but only certain parts of the engine is covered

It’s a scam .Got yearly warranty from Car Shield for 250 $ for my Lexus and it was not possible for my car to get any help from them in Ira Lexus of Manchester .

A complete rip off just open a Capital One Savings account and label it Auto Repair and put the dollars monthly in the account that you would give these rip off artists earn a little interest and when you have a repair use that money and you will be way better off

Never fall for any auto repair contracts unless it is thru a reputable vehicle dealership (ie: ford, honda, mazda, toyota, etc) in your local area. There are alot of these auto repair companies out there. Car Shield is the worst of the worst. Fyi

Federal government allow these scum bags corporations rip people off

No warrantee not even the manufacture warranty is 100% full proof. People are buying brand new vehicles that have manufactures warranties and there’s a whole process involved making people wait and wait and wait and wait until determination can be made. People should realize that when they buy a vehicle they’re paying extra built into the price is the warrantee especially if it’s used. What I do is I get the vehicle inspected. I have the mechanic list the negatives I negotiate with the dealer and I asked them to deduct four to $5000 because I don’t want the warranty because I have to assume the warranty is bogus I have to I’m not saying all warranties are bogus but that’s just my Experience that whether it be an extended warranty or a manufactures warranty be prepared to wait and wait and wait and wait because remember they’re in business to make money not to lose money. And going to the Better Business Bureau is not going to help because that is a nonprofit non-governmental agency. That’s solicitors look for membership dues and if you want to make your point you should go right to the attorney general and file a criminal complaint against the company. They will investigate it. Companies that promise but don’t deliver can be in violation of mail fraud if they send through the mail solicitation to advertise that they’re going to provide a service and they don’t. Or if you got a lawyer and have them write a letter threatening to take them to court that might prove to be or you can write a letter stating that you’re willing to be named a plaintiff representative in a class action lawsuit against the company that might get the company to listen

Exactly what happened to my ex g f ... Sorry for your loss and thanking you for making the video.... I tell people all the time not to get carshield. It's a total scam and a rip off.. it's sad that you can't trust the fellowship of other humans it's a hard lesson to learn.. still to this day pisses me off

It's hard to even get a repair shop to accept car sheild.It took me 9 repair shops before 1 accepted car shield.Now I've been waiting and waiting nothing from car sheild.They giving me such a hard time on make good of what they supposed to cover.

It’s just like health insurance. They claim pre-existing condition. Therefore they can say for example “timing belt was worn” and if it’s not replaced at 80k which hardly anyone does then it’s your fault. I knew this place was a scam. But I’ve said.. if I owned this place.. I’d fix cars. Look how much money they make each month then look at the actual repairs. This scam made someone super rich. It’s the way of the world. Steal from the innocent.

Carshield is a total scam company. I paid 2 1/2 years I had a problem with my van and they found a loophole not to repair it even though it states in the contract is covered. Whatever you have wrong with your car they will find a reason not to pay for it you must change your oil on time maintain your car 100% and if there’s a little piece of rust or something they won’t cover it. Terrible company I wasted 2 1/2 years paying them. Do not buy Carshield they are total scammers.
