I had the same problem. I found that if you go into your wifi settings and switch your phone or tablet back to your wifi, it solves the problem.

yes! the Scent Machine will ONLY diffuse during its ON time, so for instance, if you want fragrance from 10A to 10P, please program the Pro as such. this means that if your air turns on at 8:45A OR 11:10P, no scent will diffuse since it's outside of the master window programmed. if you desire 24 hour scent at ANY TIME when the fan turns on, please program ON @ 00:00 and OFF @ 23:59 daily.

@@AromaRetail just following up on this post. I received the Professional HVAC along with the air switch yesterday 9/01/24. It is working perfectly. Only comes on when the AC comes on. Enough high pressure in my residential AC home system. Very easy to install. The only thing (it’s minor) that I would suggest. Is to send two plastic anchors for the screws with a flange on them instead of the ones you send. The anchors with a flange prevents the ones you send without a flange to be pushed through the drywall. Other than that it’s perfect.

yes! the machine holds the MASTER settings when paired with the Air Switch. you'd program ON at 00:00 and OFF at 23:59 so that you're covered in a day's time whenever the fan turns on. it will sense changes in air pressure. great question!

I'm so confused. 🤔 instead of asking us to help you maximize the effectiveness of the product, you've chosen to lead with salty accusations! are you not considering the placement of your machine? the natural air flow of your 1 bedroom & 0 bathroom apartment? it is absolutely possible for our SMALLEST machine to scent a LARGE space simply because of those factors, among others. all you had to do was ask nicely, but you knew that already. thank you for supporting us and failing to take down our woman-owned small business!

I literally just unboxed mine and fired it up in a three bedroom house and can tell it’s working after twenty minutes. I should probably turn mine down. You have to be doing something wrong. Maybe contact the company with a more open minded approach cause my money is on you being the issue.

the S.M. Pro should be installed indoors and away from direct sunlight, moisture, and possible animals / critters. however, some of our clients NEED it outside and will build custom enclosures for it.

placement UNDER is preferred! this allows any condensation of the oil to safely go back into the machine WITHOUT being trapped in any bellies, so make sure it's a straight line. you are welcome to bring our hose to a hardware store and get a longer one BUT the maximum length we suggest from nozzle to port is 4 feet. sometimes 6 feet is fine, just as long as there are no bellies along the way. this is why we provide a shorter hose.

If your screen says "pause on" that means it's taking a break from it's work cycle and it'll diffuse soon. If the screen says "pause off" that means your machine is not scheduled to run. I hope this helps, you can always hold the "mode" button down for 15 seconds and it'll factory reset to run from 8:30-8:30 everyday :)

there is no heating element in ANY of our Scent Machines. otherwise, yes, fragrance oils are flammable. our cold air diffusion prevents unnecessary warmth caused by the machine AND keeps the integrity of the fragrance. no heat generated by means you experience the aroma in its intended form.

@@AromaRetail I'm sure that the machine wouldn't have a heat element, the one I am referring is in HVAC. In your schematics, #1 location is only place where oil doesn't go through the heating element. Isn't it?

yes, #1 does not go through a heating / cooling element and is the ideal placement. locations #2 & #3 are also viable in spaces where #1 cannot be achieved & are SAFE before the heating / cooling element because the flashpoints of our oils are higher than inside an HVAC system. even at the flashpoint, it would need an ignition like an open flame to start causing trouble. the main reason we want people to TRY to put the fragrance after the heat exchanger @ location #1 is because the heat will cause more of the fragrance to evaporate before it is able to make it to the spaces.

Data Privacy is extremely important to us, and the only data we store are the name and e-mail which you provide when signing up. We do not even store your profile's password. When you log in and connect your machine to your wi-fi, it is for the sole purpose of giving the machine internet access so that our Aroma Retail Servers can talk to the machine and app. This ensures settings set by the app or machine are properly synced. The machine is only capable of transmitting back its own diffusions settings to the Aroma Retail Server. We will never even know your wi-fi name, let alone any other network details beyond that.

@@AromaRetail So once I have the machine configured on network, I can block Aroma Retail at my firewall and the app will communicate to the machine through my LAN? I don't understand why the machine needs to communicate to Aroma Retail once it's up and running.

making these fragrances safe for pets is a step further that most other brands don't take because it costs too much. the level in safety, customer care, and custom scent machines is what sets us apart from the rest.

We recommend 4 feet to avoid condensation, you can clip it shorter but if it's too long you may not smell the scent!

we suggest the shortest distance needed from machine to duct! if you need to add one or two feet, then you should be fine. you'll know if the hose is too long if you cannot detect the fragrance.

the solution to this is relocating placement somewhere else in the H.V.A.C. system! in the user guide, we illustrate multiple places that it can go, and since you're experience an imbalance, it means you should move it to find a better balance. call us or e-mail us!

If you have a T plenum and trunk ducting, I would suggest installing it in the T plenum for even distribution. I just got mine to try out if I like the results. I think it will be a nice option for some of my customers :). HVAC SINCE 2004.

the plenum may not carry enough of a pressure change to trigger the air switch. I would have to see where you want to put the tube, please send us a short video (or photos would work too) to Care@AromaRetail.com if you haven't yet. A plenum is usually large and open space that allows air to flow freely, but not a duct. I would also recommend putting the tube either between the air filter and the fan (low pressure) OR after the fan between the fan and the room outlets (high pressure). After the fan is always preferred for optimal scenting!
