You didn’t really have to like take all the guitars off the track. Maybe the rhythm guitar on the solo would’ve helped. But it’s nice!
With the soundtrack volume so high, I can’t hear you play. This is basically lip syncing.
that is my guitar you are hearing. The guitar in the original mix is way more silent and in the second jhalf I am playing a lick which is not in the original recording but i liked it so much that I kept it.

The bass, mid, and treble settings are pretty relative and depend on a lot of factors like your guitar, amp, effects, and signal chain, so there’s no universal ‘right’ numbers for them. I actually use Amplitube for recording, which is a software-based amp and effects simulator. I’m currently working on a preset that I’ll share soon, so stay tuned!

Are these tracks pitched up because of the Owen Morris varispeed?
Hey, you’re right! Owen Morris used varispeed during production, which is why some Oasis tracks are slightly sharper than the standard 440Hz tuning. It’s often closer to 442Hz or a bit higher. This can definitely affect how the backing tracks sound compared to a guitar tuned to 440Hz. I try to match the original sound as closely as possible, so that might explain the slight pitch difference you’re hearing.
