@@pkhakhlou they Karma or McFlys. Dont remember. They both feel reasonably good on challenging pavement.

@@toddhawker I have 50/44deg calling racked with stock or hard bushings. I've sacrificed a lot of turning radius for stability. It likes to rebounce a lot and sometimes at higher speed it can be a bit overrated, but in this way I can push longer, harder and with less effort. Enjoy your riding, I'm finding it very fun and relaxing, wish you the same.

Still need to watch my backs on the bikes and e-boards, not fast enough ;)

I've just started too, I love watching this guy, he's inspiring. The weather is bad, I can't skate, I'm experimenting at home, I'm used to it for almost 2 weeks, I have small mistakes, my biggest problem is that I can't balance my left foot in front.

@@bartek... yeah I do, I’m trying to find a decent sheet rubber to buy that’s not too hard, I’m fed up paying £20 for 2 soles from a skate shop. If you get your own rubber sheet what type do you use?

@@ZedsDead-q8e I'm in the same situation as you. 20 is a lot but on the other hand it stays for a year or so. One day I may experiment with bike tire that may or may not be a viable alternative.

@@bartek... Haha - truly inspirational. Buying a board was my midlife crisis as well. My buddies think I'm crazy for doing so at my age. I've got a helmet, hip, knee, wrist and elbow pads coming in the mail. Took a spill day 2 and without a doubt much more falls to come but this time with some padding!

@@warp1geon 2 things: 1. I'm not in mid life, I will live forever! I'm barely quarter there! 2. Cardio on doubledrop is way easier for hip compared to jogging or biking. I have survived back problems, can't run, can't lay down. Surfing with the cars makes it go away...

@@StuartButler-Smith-n9v Carbon on the bottom is very important for me. It slides off the curbs like butter, and it's stronger. I think boards from loaded are better from stock Pantheons

I like them. They are good in all aspects I care about: grip, slide, riding over pebbles, acceleration, and maintaining speed. You can find wheels that are a bit better in one of these variables, but it's hard to find wheels that are great in all of them. Karma wheels are probably the closest competitor.

Learn to stand on one leg. After that breaking will be easy

@@byangelgl2926 I did in the past but now I have strong ankels. I never traveled with my board by plane. If extra baggadge is too expensive research how it looks if you will send it as a parcel 🤔

@@purdyboi1 there is few shops, but I always buy online. Slide perfect, newton-shred, vandemlongboard, Sick... A couple more that I can't remember now. When you buy from the EU, remember that you will have to pay significant tax on delivery time, so don't be tricked by low prices. The UK gov will make sure that the total price is not too low 🤬 Ask guys in the shop's, they have phone numbers and whatsapps. Often I got my answers same day (same Friday night on one occasion 😅). They are happy to help you and give you better advice than me. I know only a couple of boards, they know all of them. I think vandem and Newton-shred offers test ride if you want to visit them, but check on the website, or ask. I hope you'll find something that suits you on the first time. 🤙🛹🤟

So far they are my favorite wheels. Winter in London is wet, on the wet none of them have a grip.
