I'm not proud to say it but I'm on marriage number three.....the first two cheated....once with a dancer and the other a member of his platoon. I tried to make marriage number two work, but he couldn't forgive himself. Tbh I'm glad because marriage number three has been amazing. Yep, he cheated too, but it was one time and I chose to work through it. We've been together for 17 years and it's never happened again so it is possible. I've never been happier than I am now and let me tell ya, the cheating was the easiest thing we've been through together as far as bumps in the road.
