My favorite and saddest book I’ve ever read in my life, and I still remember it, though it was around 4 years ago. I was never so invested in a book and it made me realize how much I liked to read.

Why is it that you presuppose that Tradition is opposed to the Word of God? That is certainly not stated in the verses you’ve cited. Your first question is a fake one.
Tradition IS opposed to the word of God. There are about 13 mentions of tradition in the bible. Of those 13, 11 are spoken of in a negative sense. Paul and Jesus both opposed traditions of men. Which Catholic traditions are of man. Created by the church, for the church and it's believers. On your comments on Matthew 13. You are beating your head against the proverbial brick wall. The Catholic response is to play their word games. They then say that brother means cousins etc, etc. You see the church gives itself sole authority to interpret scripture. Of course the reason is blatantly obvious. The church will tell you what scriptures mean. Then they tell you that you can't question anything. And if you do, you are damned to hell or anathemized.
@@rbnmnt3341 you know nothing of Catholicism beyond your assumptions. All I know of Protestants beyond their constant protestations is that they cannot agree on anything, so they constantly create new churches to deal with the fact that none of you can agree on scriptural interpretations. I might convert so that I too can create my own church with my own interpretations which no one can argue with if they want to stay in my church. Apparently, tradition is NOT opposed to scripture 2 out of 13 times it is mentioned. You may want to think about that.
