Intro to Dingsaller

This is an introduction to the Dingsaller app for iPad. Thanks to Ashley at www.palmsounds.net and to the author of Dingsaller (timbolstad.com/dingsaller/) for awarding me a free promo code!
Absolutely amazing playing. Probably the best young cellist on the scene today.
Amazing! Perhaps the second movement could be more nostalgic and no so active but absolutely incredible performance 🤙🏻
Zlatomir is a cello god of course. But the accompaniest is amazing! Who is she?
Thank you very much! Especially for tge georgian NANA (Min, 9.50). I wished, there would be some scores. Do you know a source, where I could find them? Greetings from Munich!
Exactly 1 year and one day after the "Out of the Blue" LP release
MIT HUMOR?
Love Debbie.... such an amazing talent 😍 It's been so long but still watching her performance... Thank you for this.
Thank you for sharing this! I saw this concert in August 1988 in Los Angeles. It’s so cool to see the full concert, as several songs didn’t make the cut on the VHS, particularly my favorite, Between the Lines!
6:31
Fantastic, I was wrongly assumed that georgian music is hard for non georgians. Greate!
Damn just like us doing now and days, using iPhones at concerts too but this must then took his big O camera to the concert that day without getting caught
idk what cam was used exactly, but considering the fact that we're at an amphitheater, camcorders can't technically be considered wrong to have aboard (for the most part) bc it's a outside place. It's agreed that this VHS is precious/significant
Such beautiful playing! Eric Shumsky
Wow! This concert was the first date with the girl who would become my wife 5 years later!
I: Mit Humor - 0:00 II: Langsam - 3:32 III: Nicht schnell, mit viel Ton zu spielen - 7:33 IV: Nicht zu rasch - 12:44 V: Stark und markirt - 15:05
I noticed that the audio and video were out of sync at 7:46-8:39
Seems like the same stage with the virgin tour of Madonna. Isn't it?
I love power of the pianist ❤❤
Precious ! Thanks for introducing me to this composer ; WQXR programming in NY rarely touches on lesser known Easter European composers .
It’s hard to believe that a teenager (17 years old, going on 18 in a few days) could have such a captivating voice and incredible stage presence. She was, and still is, an amazing artist and performer!
W/o Deb is enrolled shit.
She is a goddess
This is amazing, Thanks so much for posting. I’ve always wanted to see Debbie Gibson live she sounds incredible live. It’s funny I’ve seen some huge names live in concert like “Madonna I’ve been to 10 of her 11 Tours I saw her in Who’s that girl tour 1987, Blonde Ambition Tour 1999, The Girlie Show Tour 1993, The Drowned World Tour 2001, The Re-Invention Tour 2004, The Confessions Tour 2006, The Stick & Sweet Tour 2008, The MDNA Tour 2012, The Rebel Heart Tour 2015, The Madame X Tour 2019, Janet Jackson Saw her Rhythm Nation Tour, Pink saw her Funhouse Tour, Tina Turner saw her 2X’s in 1985 & 2008, Paula Abdul saw her Under My Spell Tour 1991, Cher 2X’s I saw her 1989 Tour & The Farewell Tour in 2005, Cyndi Lauper I’ve seen her 5X’s I saw her in 2004, 2005, 2008, 2010, 2013, Britney Spears I saw her Circus Tour in 2009, The Spice Girls saw their The Return Of The Spice Girls AKA The Greatest Hits Tour 2008, Kelly Clarkson in 2009, Wilson Phillips in 1990, Stevie Nicks 2007, Joan Jett I’ve seen her 3X’s in 1999, 2000 & 2003 & many more huge names but I’ve never been able to see Debbie Gibson, I’ve also always wanted to see Tiffany as well. Today (March 17, 2022) I saw Debbie Gibson is touring & she will be near me & I really want to go see her BUT tickets are $200.00 per ticket & to me that’s extremely expensive especially with so much of us out of work due to Covid-19. I wish they were much cheaper because I really really want to see her. I will say Debbie has commented & chatted with me on Instagram & Twitter which made me so excited. Maybe I’ll have to reach out to her on Instagram & Twitter RE: her tickets. Thanks so much again for posting this tour in full.
I saw someone selling her tickets on FB at a reduced price because unable to go. I forgot which fan group or page. Hope you find the ticket!!! 😊
@@victorc9235 Thanks so much for the info & help. If you happen to find where it is on Facebook I’d appreciate it
Your playing has the upmost clarity. I very much enjoy listening to you play. Can you tell us who is the maker of your cello? It has such an even temperament throughout all ranges. Very beautiful. Thanks.
I'm also curious about the maker. I think the recording quality isn't quite nice, but the instrument cover them all. Although I know that is Fung's mighty 😂
Red hot is one of my favorite. So glad I get to hear it sang live. Thank you!
the captions tho 😳
Between the lines ⚡
Love it !
I love the way she interacted with the audience. She is so nice to her fans.❤️
This. Is. Amazing. All the songs not included on the official VHS...Play the Field, Between the Lines...LOOOOOOOVE.

I wish I knew why some of these songs that she performed on the Out of the Blue tour weren't included on the VHS release of her concert in Pittsburgh (reminds me of Madonna's concert in Detroit during the Virgin Tour that was also released on VHS where they didn't include "Angel", "Borderline" and "Burning Up").
@@amiharris7152 I think maybe they cut down the length of the concert to 60 mins because of the capacity of laser discs which is about 60 mins per side. (The concert in Pittsburgh also had a laser disc release ) I'm not sure. It's just my guess.
Why does this look IDENTICAL to the show she did in Pittsburgh PA which she released on home video?
She held 30+ similar concerts during that time.
@@alangillman8919 Are any of those concerts posted here in you tube aside from this one,Boston and Pittsburgh? Because ive already seen those 3.
@@nori2598 Sadly I didn't find any one aside from those 3. This kind of video is so rare and precious. Wish there will be more fans could share their treasures.❤️❤️❤️
@@alangillman8919 Ok. thankyou very much
Where’s Boston concert can’t find it.
He has "licked the problems", as Heifetz might have said. If any cellist could do what he did in his early teens, they would do it. But I do not think anyone can. And he keeps moving forward as he enters his 20's. Phenomenal.
@Nathaniel Rosen Mr. Rosen, would you be so kind to tells us your favorite recordings of the cello suites? Best wishes
I would be happy to answer your question, but it would offend many friends of mine, living and dead. So I must decline. Anyway, I have recorded the complete set twice and am never completely happy with my own efforts.
@@nrosen8794 I understand. One of the perks off being as established as yourself, I guess. And one can't blame you for being tactful. Nor for not being satisfied with your own Bach(who ever was or is?)... I, on the other hand, am looking forward to hearing them very much! I wasn't aware that you had recorded them, and I am sure I will find them delightful. Best wishes, all the best
One of my greatest regrets in life is taking one year of cello lessons in my 1st year of college, then quitting. I continued to play guitar as a part-time amateur. The rest is history.
100% talented
Thank you for uploading this.
crazy how he was only 14 at the time
Bravo!
So good!
This is a total treat! Thank you so much, I was so on board with Deb from the start when I first heard Only In My Dreams, or should I say seen the video on Night Tracks ( TBS cable station ), and I became a fan from the word go, but sadly I was not able to attend the two big tours, so this certainly makes up for that loss, I did not see her live until the Mixed Tape Tour, but have been a massive fan as I said
I like your story.
thanks for posting this. i was 18 when i saw this tour in cali. great to hear the live version of love in disguise and between the lines. also nice to see all the dance moves that are hard to see on the vhs version.
That was Fun!
Is that you on guitar?
@@magovenor On bass.. Not guitar.
Kirk - your slap bass work on all these songs was legendary. It was the definitive live concert of my youth.
@@imaginerc3254 You are so kind. Thank you . I had so much FUN..
@@imaginerc3254 You are very kind.. Thank you
This is amazing! Please take me back to when we could go to amazing concerts like these
This brings back some great memories and I hope it stays up. I saw her on the Out of the Blue Tour earlier that summer in Cincinnati. She put on a great show. Everything was well planned and thought out. I just wish that Atlantic would release the entire show on DVD. They've done that with others, why not her?
Thank you SO much, Play the Field, Red Hot, Between the Lines this was the only tour to hear them in full since they were cut for the VHS
Thank you so much for posting this! I certainly enjoyed it! Can’t believe I finally got to see Play The Field live! It didn’t disappoint.. especially the guitar solo I love so much! It was cool to finally see Red Hot and her other album songs live too. I cannot for the life of me understand why Fallen Angel wasn’t on the set list. Awesome song and my second favorite from that album! I did get to see the EY tour but I don’t remember if she did Love In Disguise so it was cool to see it here. That’s one of my favorite from EY. Wish I could’ve been at this concert but meeting Debbie, the Cameo and this video made up for it! She also follows me on Instagram and has liked and responded to my comments. Doesn’t get much better than that! ❤️🎤
Bravo to the cellist and pianist for this great performance, and thank you for recording this rather less known composer - but please inform the name of the pianist and give some details about the movements.
fycfung I just downloaded the Piano Score to it & there's a so called False Treble Clef (aka Trouble Clef) passages which are intended to be played an Octave Lower than written. The problem with that is they're missing the number 8 (8vb) which indicates that.
Hi CircuitsAndStrings: that was a fairly common thing to find in late 19th and early 20th century editions: Schumann, Dvorak (symphonies, overture) Chadwick, etc. where the cellists would just read treble an octave lower. Many of the public domain editions are from that era, so you'll bump into this once in a while. Cheers!
@@jr-lz5oy They really have to put a Number 8 below the Treble Clef to indicate that.
Great control of the cello, beautiful!
You play fucking awesome
