I started watching you just as you were preparing to move into this house and this week I went back to watch your older videos. It's so nice to see you happy and settled in your house now, you've made it beautiful.

I'm so pleased to hear of someone else who bought their house without seeing it first! We did that two and a half years ago. We moved from north Wales to Tyneside to be nearer to my daughter and little grandson. She went to view a few houses for us and would FaceTime the house tour and that would give us a chance to speak to the vendor as well. She did a great job and we were very happy with the house we eventually decided on. You and your stepdad have done amazing work in such a short time and I wish you all the best living there. I’m not sure any advent calendars has the 25th. They should 😀. I don’t do anything for Christmas Eve. Just chill with a snowball drink. When I was younger I used to go clubbing. Christmas Day was lovely had a nice lunch, drinks a walk and watched TV. Hope you had a lovely one. 😊

Hi Emily! Sorry you had to work on the 24th. On Christmas Eve we have our big dinner and then it means on the 25th the Moms also get to rest and enjoy the day. We had a lovely Christmas, just the 3 of us. I still have the rest of this week and next week off which is amazing! Trying to enjoy and appreciate it because I know time flies 😊 Hope you had a good Christmas ❤

Been busy at work so just catching up with the vlogs. Love the knitted sweatshirt and the lemon/lime squeezer is perfect. I didn't know Dobbie died... but I do now 😀(Ok I realise I might be somewhat behind with HP).

I try to keep quiet about the Harry Potter books vs films controversy, but honestly the films did the books dirty. Ginny has an actual personality in the books, and her and Harry are far more compatible. In the films she's like a damp dish cloth. Lots of other things the films did not get right, but I won't go into that. 😂

Check that the vents clear and there’s no lint etc and get a carbon monoxide alarm I’m sure you had one put it up in that room and if it goes off you have a problem with the dryer

Aww your dinner party looked lovely - unfortunately now I have to have a Christmas tree shaped dish and fill it with pretzels.😀 The earrings were such a cute gift and yes selection boxes were twice the size of that. I saw some in the shop the other day and wondered if they were special small ones for really little kids but I can well believe they're all that size now.

If you are running a gas dryer you might have a CO2 build up in your home which can lead to headaches and much worse. Please be careful and maybe purchase a CO2 detector for your home.
