When is the 4th line from beach to Egmore will be open for trains? Have you come to know any date?

There were originally only 2 metre gauge lines and 2 island platforms for the Tambaram - Beach suburban service between Egmore and Beach stations. Now, the same narrow corridor has to accommodate 6 broad gauge lines and 4 island platforms. Passengers have to understand this contingency and put up with the unavoidable congestion and inconvenience.

Arun Mozhidevan you have given an excellent latest update about Park Town Station And Platform review. The Passage at this station as well as the Staircase of FOB are very narrow indeed. I dont know how it will cater to he huge footfall of passengers. Similarly the Approach to the down Staircase is also narrow. Rain water is also stagnant on the footpath. Proper Drains should have been there. Now that NE Monsoon has returned after a long gap it may take some time. THANKS for your informative video. Fully loved and enjoyed this digital travel with you. Remaining three top portion is to be completed. Hope footoverbridge work is over. Even In Fort Mrts Station One foot over bridge is to be completed. Dear bro gd work by you gd shorts taken pl kindly check the existing staircase starting from park town station Ticket counter to prison over bridge connectivity was there bef 4th new line track proj started has it has been demolished or still there pl kindly check it and reply it in y videos and pl kindly check 4th line track any new platform comes for park station newly built any so pl kindly check these two ok I could see in this video at park town some works are Going on as they are providing a protection safe guard barriers in steel in both sides at park town station

Today 10.11.24 I have seen it As rains have given a break. This work will be over faster. 4th line work pending from turn after Park Town MRTS Station till half way upto Egmore. Next target may be 3rd & 4th between Basin bridge and Korukkupettai or Villivakkam new Terminal. We need Tiruvanmiyur - Mahabalipuram - Pondicheri new Raiway line

Work is also progressing at a fast pace. MRTS Tracks in Down line from Fort Station to upto RBi is yet to be laid. Roof top Work of Park Town Station is yet to be started. Track laying work also pending in some areas. As per TV News North East Monsoon likely to commence from 16th or 17th October. Once Monsoon starts then there is bound to be delay. 4 km from Egmore to Beach station - three and half years completed and still struggling to complete. Chinese lay 22 km railway track in ONE day. I feel sad for the commuters at Beach stn and Chithatrepet. We say India lands in the moon
