I guess because kids can be so carefree. We adults have to think about a lot like paying the bills, work, housework, getting food done, dishes, groceries, changing lightbulbs, getting along with our partner, getting along with ourselves ;-) hehe,...and so on.... Kids don't have to worry about any of that. Food is put in front of their nose, they don't have to paint the room, never have to pay a bill,... That's why, I think. We have a lot more on our mind. So much more responsibility. Kids have zero responsibility, so nothing to worry about. We do that for them ;-)

I would keep (or blow) half of it and give half of it to the animal shelter.

About your first thought of the day: inspiration strikes on a calm mind :) When the (rational) "thinking" slows down, the brilliant ideas can bubble up :) About your second one: I only had crappy jobs my whole life, never found the perfect job (yet). What ruined it for you? Then it wasn't the perfect job after all? ;o Great! Thoughts for the the day :) I hope this becomes a series :D

Awesome so proud of you! Quitting smoking may hurt a little but the lasting effects and overall internal health reversal will pay off! Glad to hear you're going back to church. That is huge! I know you have been through a lot and more than I even know for sure but I love what you said about serving others! It's a hard thing for peeps to grasp these days when we are inundated with media that basically tells us to look out for #1 me, myself, and I. And using your gifts to glorify God and drawing others to him awesome!
