Mera, I’m disappointed that you essentially ghosted all your subs, Scarlet, Patreon members and those who regularly were on your channel as guests, from Ru Girls, Drag Race franchises guests, and your local girls who became more visible in Drag online and for work locally. This was obviously planned as you backed up all your uploaded content, and are re-uploading old content, nothing new on a new channel. And you already have enough subs, and possibly viewing minutes to be monetized (or close to it) without notice. We don’t deserve tea from your personal life (you have every right to your privacy and peace) and you could’ve privatized your channel/videos, instead of deleting the channel and come back, re-uploading and you are technically are double dipping with your content and profits once you’ve been monetized again. As I have you on immediate notifications on YT, I realized I hadn’t seen an upload in a week I went to look up your channel as YT sometimes unsubscribed people, but when I looked up your channel it was gone, and other drag queens who are very aware of Mangle Mornings / Mera mangle, reached out to Scarlet and she had zero clue why you did this. On an IG live I watched, including Scarlet and her being confused AF and starting her own channel. Your actions are suss. I have sent your original channel many high amount YT thanks (as I knew YT takes a percentage) and though not a Patreon member always supported the channel from basically the beginning. Cause now I feel I cannot trust you, to pull a stunt like this again, I won’t sub to the new channel. Other drag queens like Trixie even, when she took a hiatus, allowed local Ru Girls (you could’ve let the local girls you had on as a guest and take turns doing content from their POV) without you having to take responsibility in editing etc. and shared the profits from their uploads, or given Scarlet the access to the Patreon to do watch a longs etc, of what you did there. There was a huge supportive community, with a minimal few loud voices being vile (which you could’ve blocked/reported), but you really let your subs felt like they were shit, after subbing and watched all your videos and left positive comments appreciating your dedication. If something bad happened to you or within your family etc. no one would care that you took a hiatus, unless you verify a rumour I didn’t believe it, but deleting your channel with no community post prior only to appear with a new channel with older content, no new videos; Even just saying you took a hiatus (and like I said, you don’t owe an apology or have to divulge personal details all of us are entitled to a break) and just un-private your channel when you were ready to and just said something generic to why you were gone and that it was needed, most wouldn’t have bat a lash at it. As prior to you deleting you were making suggestions and subs mentioned names for your subs to be referred to. So the optics just look odd and a little more than entitled, especially since you created a new channel with old content and no explanation. And I truly empathize if you were dealing with or having a hard time in your life, but to vanish (to Vegas supposedly) and to “appear” again, but not truly. I just cannot trust you as a creator or sub, when you had a very big platform and support of the channel monetarily, views, sub count, engagement in the comments, your Patreon, with Venmo/cashapp/paypal and YT thanks and sponsorships that paid you, plus more when people used your code or link. I know real life shit happens, but before suddenly abandoning your subs with no reason given and wiped your subs like they didn’t exist at all is a pretty crappy thing to do. I’m not coming back (subbing) or supporting your work in any way. What you did was disrespectful to your subs, and I don’t support creators who have no respect for their subs.
