It's crazy that there's Ninja Gaiden NES music in this, because I was _just_ listening to it's stage 1 music before I clicked this video. Also, this is a _really_ impressive and polished hack, and I was really impressed by the thumbnail animation, and whenever I'm impressed ROM hax it makes me wish I had tried harder at making ROM hax myself lol *Edit:* The polish makes me wonder what Genesis games would've been like if they kept making them until the year 2000 like they did for the SNES and Neo-Geo and whatnot. Come to think of it, the Turbografx 16 is another 16-bit console (despite it's 8-bit CPU) that could've used some extra games, too. I really like the camera shake + explosion sfx you added, it's awesome. *Another edit:* I cleaned up my original comment because it was _even longer_ than this, and I'm trying to teach myself to learn to type shorter comments... Also, I love the "Seeegaaa" dubbing at the beginning lol (at 0:17), I also love upside-down Sonic, made me lol too 2:03 I was wondering about that. Is there a reason why the "grey buzz b0mb3r" (since YT likes hiding stuff for no reason) was so tough? Was it specially made by Dr. Robotnik, to hunt Sonic down or something? 5:15 Ah, I see. The grey badniks are _silver,_ like Silver Sonic! So they're tougher.

Hold on a minute.... How on earth is that "press start" text transparent like that!?!?!? Shadow and Highlight mode doesn't allow its transparency to be different levels like that, so what black magic is being used to allow this?

This is really cool, I've wished more than anything for the TTS demo to be found because I love how it more closely resembles Ohshima's concept art and I wish the final game had not deviated from it as much as it did.

I always felt they made the right decision to take this zone out from the final game. There's something about the pixel tiles from wood zone that doesn't feel Sonic at all and more inline to Bubsy graphics.
